    • I wish we could juggle the schedule around a little bit. I'd like to pit the mighty Firebirds against the feisty Dragons in a cage match. Whoever gets the snot beat out of them gets the #1 overall pick!

      • Couple of injuries at a crap time, but the NC South title is once again in Little Rock. Thanks to the AC East for being swept by the Toads this season, and thanks to Tulsa and Columbia for fading down the stretch.

Gonna have to hope those injured players are not injured too long, like able to contribute in 2 weeks.

        • Without looking at any records, playoff appearances, etc., what team would say has had the least success in the IFL up to this point? There's really no right answer, just curious what your guys' perceptions are.

              • Oye vey. We had a punt blocked that led to an easy TD for Texas. Then we have them backed up 4th and 35 and only down by 8. We rough the kicker to give them a 1st down and we go down in flames again.

                • I wonder if I should tank next week just to get road games in the playoffs.

14 straight regular season road wins now, guess my team just doesn't like Houston very much. Maybe they have a bunch of nagging wives.

GG Reno, sorry about the blowout, but I want that damn division and nobody else seems to want to help me out there wtf! Fuck St Louis, those dirty skanks. What kind of team would want a gay ass Cardinal as a logo?

I look at the overall records each week religiously. It's the ultimate divisional battle.

Some seasons are more balanced then others. Of the four 13 win teams so far these are their results:

2005 Norfolk - lost in AC championship.
2007 Norfolk - lost in IFL Championship to...
                      2007 L. Rock - Won IFL Championship
2008 Norfolk - Won IFL Championship

Still nothing to do with what's to come. Just filtering the stats that you've put forward.

It would have been nice to win once in the last three weeks and be able to rest up for a playoff game. . but it's a much better story line with a winner take all in week 17!

Defensive Coordinator: uhhh, coach, i don't think they're going with their running game this week. maybe we should stop focusing so much on the run?

HC: FUCK OFF! full steam ahead.

this is an actual conversation in FOF.

you know what'd be cool - if you could have 2 gameplans, maybe different than the other. you could select what would be the trigger to activate the other gameplan. like if your 1st gameplan keys in on the run and the other team decides to air it out, rather than being penalized you set the trigger to be "if Team X passes (insert # of pass attempts here) by the 1st half, use Gameplan B".

still, good game Newark. i didn't respect your QB and i said even if you decided to not be so smashmouthy you still couldn't crack my pass defense. i was wrong. hard fought game on your part.

still, FOF is retarded. i was in your redzone in the final 2 minutes and could have and should have played for the winning touchdown. instead the gameplan used ticky tack runs that while they moved the chains - set us up so that we had to tie. we could have scored on you. this game gives me headaches and frustration.
I sat Crespo because I had nothing to play for. He is my team, and with my luck this year I thought it would work better for me to sit his ass. I don't want a serious injury to him. I've been rolling the dice with him for the past 2 weeks because we still had some hope.

It was a fantastic game to watch. It's nice to see Caffrey play well in his return to Newark. I loved that guy, but I had to move him.

Bring on Vermont!!!!!!!! I've got some revenge for you

Murf is still trying to pick up it's first ever winning season .. Boston has one winning Season .. .they also share the worst overall record. Now that is just straight up consistency right there. . .

                              • I just looked and have 18 players in their 10th year or above. FOF2007 could hit Newark hard. 5 of the 18 play on the offensive line.
