Week 16 Discussion

1st in team passing, 3rd in team rushing and 1st in league scoring. Total of 425 yards/game. I'm pretty sure the Phantoms have locked up the best offensive season in IFL history behind the arms of 3 starting QB's and 2 starting RB's.

Compare that to Pittsburgh:

1st in scoring defense, 1st in defensive yards/attempt and 4th in defensive yards/carry! I love the contrast there!!

As much as Vito wants to find a different quarterback, his hands are going to be pretty tied. He'll be in the worst cap situation this league has ever seen.

Wow! That's going to be interesting to watch this off-season.

So teams with a bye are 11-13 in the Divisional round in our first 6 seasons. Not a great record at all.

However teams with a bye have been to 9 Imperial Bowls versus only 3 appearances by teams without the Bye.

Simple. It means that playoff teams are all generally tough opponents. Top seeds would have a better chance at getting the Imperial Bowl because they have to play one less flipping game. Rocket science I tell you.

3 were AC North teams at home, one was against a Vipers team missing their stud QB, and another was against a middling Demons team. You're beating people you should beat.
