Good game, Coder. I thought for certain that you were gonna come back and win once Stanfield went down and I realized in my sick state that I set one of the gameplan windows and then "set all to this window" and thus I was just gonna keep chucking away with the young fella behind center. Always scary to be facing Sepulveda with anything less than a 2 TD lead.


In other news the Beaver looks to fit in perfectly in Lawrence! Finally the compliment to my super secret "if you need more than 2 yards, throw the ball" passing attack!

Same to you Jester.. I was a bit frustrated that I couldn't turn things around in the end, but Jordan came out sizzling. Beaver tore some pretty big holes in my defense though, especially early on, but then Virgil started struggling with his receiving corpse.. I say that despite him getting 300+ yards, because had you not picked him off three times the scoreboard would have looked different.

Shit, found myself down 21-0 early. Thank God the D found their asses from there on out and good ol' 'Finger' adds number 16 to his comeback wins. Harbour kicks a career best 57 yarder in OVERTIME to win for the Vipers.

I am sure glad that the first meeting with the Beast is done and over. They are not the team of the past.

I was happy to get home for a day and now this. Overtime loss and I lose two of my top players. G Sheffield is out for half the season and SLB James Barber (one of my favorite players) is out for the year. Bad start on the injury front, so much for upgrading that head coaches injury rating.

And the fans are grumbling about the head coaching change after week one in Little Rock........

Good game though David. Add WR Norris to the hated Fire players list now that JC is gone. Richardson was a scrambling fool too. Next time I will hopefully win the OT coin toss.

we looked respectable. sucks to lose the first game of the season and to Portland. Deason looks like he can carry the load so i'm gonna try to get him in some more series, i like that he had 17 carries and i don't want my backup RB getting 8 carries a game. if Deason can get like 22-23 carries a game he should be able to avg about 100 yards rushing.

i really need to get some more playmakers on Defense. still, they were up against Caro and i'm sure he'd make anyone look bad.

Wichita defense dominated our offense. We just played terrible on offense and still should have at least tied it or won the game. Even though wichita played poor on offense their defense carried them this game and should feel lucky to escape cleveland with a win. Good game witchita your dline just stuffed our rookie rb and we could never get on track.

THANKS... i would say the same about your defense...not sure it was my offense as much as the defensive effort from your guys...at least im hoping that....

Wow & wow. I feel good about the win over Salt Lake City, but I am nervous about our offense, they weren't able to score any TD's. We gotta fix that!
