I was leaning towards Adamov so I could have some depth at DE, and had Harding as a replacement for Tan down the road...

You were talking about how great it would be to get him in the mock draft thread, so I thought you were leaning dline, which made me think I needed to move up if I wanted Harding or Adamov. Not too many shiny players left, which is what I was afraid of.

I figured that was no big mystery. The only things I really need are to replace Tan and Flemming.

Just a little note.. I'm at the office now and I've had the autopick on for the 22nd overall all night and up until now (it's 2.20 p.m.), but since it's only about 3 hours until I'll get back home and I'm heading into a meeting now, I'd rather not have the autoselection on. If things start rolling, expect my pick to be done around 11 a.m. EST.

How great of a name is Armstrong for a QB? I just hope he lives up to that name.

I think Armstrong will be a better quarterback than Stephens. I even thought about trading down to get him before I aquired Humphrey. But that is always a risky move.

Agreed. I didn't think he was worth to go in the top 5 picks with the talent that was on the board.

My thought is you can always take a QB with a pot. of 65+ anywhere in the first round if you are pretty sure he is going to increase in skill, because a QB is so vitally important. I wouldn't do that for any other position.

I agree with the consensus, I think Armstrong is an excellent pick, and I would have taken him if he had fallen to me. Still, I am not going to complain about my consolation prize. Getting Hernandez is a great coup for me. I think he might breakout a bit, and if he does, I will have an excellent 1-2 punch at RB. His running skills appear to be better than Jamison's so he may start immediately. With the OL already in place, we'll be all set to run.
