good game Jester. I had a bad feeling abou this game, and my gameplan tinkering obviously didn't work. 2 things I didn't want to have happened, did happen. 1st was that I didn't want to lose, and the 2nd was having 2 of my best players get re-injured for the 50th freaking time.

Thank god for the 1st rnd bye. I don't want no Phantoms though. In fact I'm not too fond of any of the remaining teams.

    Good luck all

I believe Madison is the #1 btw (by SOV). I'll get to face them after I take care of the Stallions.

Not really, we had no chance to make the playoffs even if we won. And we had 50% more yards, 50% more first downs, and ran 20 more plays. During a 10 minute stretch in the middle of the game, they had 115 yards of offense and scored 17 pts. The other 50 minutes they had 84 yards and 3 pts. Then we had 5 turnovers in the second half trying to come back. It was one of those games where you out-yardage the other team 161-90 in the first half and you are still down 7-6.

Congrats Madison, but we will return stronger next year, and with brand new turf as well

            Thanks Matt.

I didn't even notice who you lost to injury. I'll have to go check that out.

I wasn't happy to see Tobias Stanfield get injured on the 2nd last play of the game when he should've been on the bench.

I just picked my first game. My team definitely played a little better as the season went on, but I think team cohesion may have also improved a bit.. possibly. I'm not sure if that changes mid season

Mangrum and Peltier.. ouch. Peltier's probable though so that's not too bad.

That's what I'm wondering as well. Does your team gain in cohesion in the preseason if you play your starters more? I've never really examined it, but I just have a gut feeling that there is some sort of benefit to playing your starters a bit more in preseason than sitting them all together.

I truly wish there was a manual for this game that at least covered some of these topics. I know not everything can be explained, but at least an effort should be made.

I recall MrB and I discussing cohesion. I think we both concluded that more than likely the only factor taken into account is the 'on team' since or 'joined team' number. I'd surprised if it was more complex than that.

Caro has been worse his last four games than he was for his first five BTW. 8)

Oy, forgot it was going to come down to SOV:

Madison SOV (if PIT won) = 0.46875
                      Pitt SOV = .46563

                      God damn that is close!

Yeah I know, it was Chinese water torture watching all the other games before mine. Kind of glad though, if that game had really been for the division I would have thrown myself out the window.

that's by design. much harder to say something is broke or buggy if you don't even know how it's supposed to be working.

JB Lincoln completely dominated ANC. seriously, i was thoroughly impressed with his 178 rushing yard, 3 td game. he had a td run of 60 yards and one 30+ yard td run. amazing performance. Offensive Rookie of the Year.
