  • 2004 Schedules and Relative Strength

    -------------

I've laid out all of the info that you need to determine what opponents you will be facing in 2004. First look at the bottom of the sheet and see what divisions you will face. If you are in the AFC North you can look and see that you will be playing all four teams in each the AFC East and the NFC East. Then look where it says 'x opp' and see what two wildcard teams you play. You'll notice that these correspond to how you placed in your division. Cleveland won their division so they will be playing at Portland (AFC West) and home to St. Louis (AFC South). Wichita finished last in the AFC North so they will face the last place teams in the AFC West and AFC South, Fresno and Houston, respectively.

You will also notice that Jave has his work cut out for him. Besides dealing with an angry Pittsburgh owner in Hanover, he will be facing the toughest schedule in 2004 playing ten teams with a 2003 winning percentage over .500 and seven teams that made the 2003 playoffs. Go get 'em, Jave!

    Enjoy!

Wichita and Burlington are the only teams that I play next year that had less than 7 wins this year

4 teams with 10 wins+ , Cleveland twice. This is gonna be a tough season for the Snipe Hunters

Wichita has a chance to be a cellar to stellar team. We were not nearly as bad as our last season reflected and we will have QBs again next year. WIht our slightly easier schedule we just might accomplish something.

The AFC East will be very interesting next year, the easiest schedule in the division is the 7th toughest schedule overall!

Orlando scores. 26th ranked schedule and we are in the Imperial Bowl. That is lucky.

                DAMN!

but a little comforting to see my entire division within the top 7.

I really don't want to play ANC again, especially after what I did to their QB last year...

And before you go spouting something off Jave, let me remind you that your whole division weakened as a whole this offseason.

FUCK, SHIT, DAMN, FUCK.......didn't I have the second hardest schedule last year? And isn't the Superbowl winner supposed to have the most diffucult schedule? This should be an interesting season.

There used to be a better chance of that happening before realignment. Now, because of the rotational schedules there's only two games that differ between divisional opponents (those two listed on the right of the spreadsheet). So you'll notice that you face the teams that finished last in the NC North and the NC East while Reno faces the division champs instead.

Reno would have a tougher schedule, but they face your team twice this season.
