Graybill debuted with 10 tackles, 6 assists, and a hurry.

Pittsburgh 2-0 for the first time in team history. We are usually slow starters, going 2-8 in the first two weeks of a season in the five prior years.
I wasn't thrilled about going for it on 4th down from my own 37 in the 3rd qtr, and less thrilled I tried to pass when I have a solid running game and just needed a yard, that was a pretty big play.

I knew that was going to be a tough game anyway, you have a real solid team, and underrated defense. There wasn't very many weak spots I could exploit, I should have just stuck to a more normal gameplan instead of trying to get fancy looking for holes. Real sloppy play on my part though, 2 sacks allowed, 2 picks.. blah.

Good luck the rest of the season, i'm glad that game is over

Ok, finally some free time.. time to contemplate the first victory of this season for the Vermont Mountaineers.. a few things:

Tilley's the real deal.. he and Virgil are connecting
      The O-line is doing well
      We're fairly disciplined (few penalties)
Our receiving corpse beyond Tilley is abysmal, but has potential
Correction, our WR corpse beyond Tilley is abysmal, but our alternatives are awesome

Our defense is struggling against the run
Our defense isn't doing much better against the pass
Doyle sure does look like the real deal

Finally.. we didn't beat Cleveland.. Cleveland gave us the win.. penalty, penalty, penalty.. interception... penalty, penalty

      Thank you Clawz!

I have my 'go for it on 4th down' setting pretty low to keep my team from doing just those kind of things.

I picked you to win your division, so I feel good about the win. Sorry about hurting your players, but that's how my turf rolls. The high quality construction crews are expected to fix that by next season, but in 8 years when you come back they will probably be crappy again!

          Nice game Mules!

Overall nice performance by the team. Like Kobeck said, our punter did a heckuva job today. We did a good job on Fortune besides the 25 yarder he got on us. Charles Bell had another decent day. If he stays injury free he should be the rookie of the year. He will get the ball a lot.

Big test next week against the Owls in Madison. Would be real nice to go 3-0. We shall see.....
