Can we start the playoffs now?

Ho is looking like the player we went after to replace Flynn, finally!! Hynes has responded pretty well to his new contract as well. On to next week.

AND we lost Sherman Jarvis for most of the season.

Another long season in Lansing? seems true.
That sucks man. Looks like Jarvis was on the verge of a breakout season too.

We gave away the frigging game. One INT leads to a FG for them, one fumble kills a drive at their 21, and we miss a FG that would have won the game.

Norton played adequately, and Mulcahey played well. If we don't turn the ball over just one time we win this game. I think we'll be alright.

        Still frustrating though.

4-10-LAW30 (07:57) IWC 3 Hack attempted a 47 yard field goal and missed wide to the left.

He is 1 for 3, Hit from 47 and missed from 47 and 49.

Those are pretty long shots, but he is the higest paid kicker in the game. I know that doesn't mean he is the best, but damn 1 for 3 on my championship run.

In other news, Is Wichita for real? Or are they just playing dress up as the AFC North Champ? I got your number db, I will be the first back-to-back AFC North Champ.
gonna make the pig farmers our bitch this year...looking to avoid horrible injuries like in years past. WIC's biggest past problem has been injuryitis.

Im happy with the game today...Some thoughts....

              1. Crespo managed to get 100 yds (101) but it took him 31 carries. I can live with a 100 yd rusher that averages 3 ypc.

              2. LeGrande and Rau had a nice day on the ground. 30 carries for 140+ yds and 2 TDs. Looks like the WIC ground game was better than highly touted C-Money CrespoHo.

              3. Scott was highly efficient at QB. No picks and completed 65% of his passes. Efficient offense is what I like. Dont need big yards or points if we are efficient and control the clock.

              4. It looked like NWK and WIC play the same style of ball control offense. That must have been a snoozer to watch.

I lucked out a little this week. Got home late last night and just didn't have the energy to boot up the laptop and do a gameplan, so I stuck with last weeks. The run game was horrible again (Dixon had 2.7 ypc), but atleast we were able to stick with it and get some decent team yardage.

Given was Mr. Accurate though, and that usually helps us win. He went 20 of 24. Very nice.

The defense kept Caro from killing us too, so that was very nice.

Now Given is doubtful for 1 week because of headaches. I have no real backup, so I am torn if I should start him next week. It's only headaches, man up you little mofo.

My defensive backfield, I love those guys. They always get banged up.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

RB - Andrews out for 14 weeks. Looks like a heavy dose of Carmack from here on out.

Pity that we seem to want to wait until we are over 2 TD's down to make our comebacks. Had a chance at the end but we decided to punt with 2 minutes to go rather than go for it in Phantom territory on 4th and 7.

                    Never got the ball back.

2 Fumbles and an Interception don't help either.

You guys must have the Swiss Army Sphincter this year, two games that you guys have managed to pull out of your ass.

Still, as a very good coach once said, "I'd rather be lucky than good."

At least I can say I didn't get beat badly. But this safety crap is starting to get old. Good game Lawrence.
In my defense I also had a TD called back due to offensive holding.

But how's this to make you feel better: 3-0 and 1st place in the NFC North (in the NFL)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Note to the 28 teams that DON'T have to play Crespo twice per year: He's not going to be a God for 16 straight games. For 4-5 games a year he's not going to be a monster. Please enjoy it and let it go unspoken: Those that play him twice per year don't need the added motivation.

                              Thank you.

I can only speak for my (drunken) self but it looked like championship calibur I-believe-in-my-scheme type of ball from both teams from my perspective and a GREAT victory by your team.
