Low offensive week around the league, compared to recent weeks anyways. Only 3 QB's passed for over 300 yards, and only 5 RB's go for over 100 yards rushing.

And the first team to officially clinch anything.....Defending Imperial Bowl champs Norfolk are your 2007 AFC East Division Champions. Thats 3 years in a row now.
I did not expect this outcome this week. Had to change the gameplan pretty significantly with Brown, Harden and Aguilera out of the starting lineup. Did not know how it would work.

But I am extremebly happy to clinch ... which will allow a little more conservative play to try to nurse the injured and prevent further injuries with just a few weeks remaining.

And I really want to win these last three games. If I do, I will be above .500 for the first time Since Week 3 of 2003.
This is one confusing post. :?

Start out strong and then fall apart late? You are 10-3, I don't think you have come close to falling apart. Atleast in Vermont perspective I am guessing.

And above .500 for the first time since week 3 of 2003? You have been over .500 since week 3 of this season. And you won the division going 12-4 in '05.

      Is this the real roadrash?

Yeah, that game has made the 'Bad' section on that front page. I just need to figure out what the top story is and I will have it updated in full.

I usually fall apart late in the season, and with 2 games including the Cleveland game a few weeks ago, I was worried I was going to do it again. I want evidence of by late season crash, check out the other IFL last year. 7-3 to 8-8. That is the worst, but I usually have a hard time in the late half of the season.

Franchise record is currently 38-40 lifetime, Three wins will put me at 41-40. Havn't been over .500 as a franchise since Week 3 2003 when I was 2-1.

Good game Orlando. I thought I could exploit some matchups and we did on the ground, but almost everytime we went to the air bad things happened. 2 fumbles and 2 INTs will get you everytime. The defense here is still solid even with our big players banged up all season, our problem is we are last in the league in turnover margin. I'd love to see what our record would be if we weren't 31st in the league there.

Another game, another close loss, more injuries inflicted....

I hate my coach. 4th and 3 at the 5 yd. line and we are down by 7 with 4 minutes left. We kick a FG. Go for it man!!! Geez, even if we get stopped we have them backed up and a good series by our defense puts in good field position. Either way we are going to need a TD.

We were able to hold Stanfield to his lowest completion % and 2nd lowest yardage of the season.

I know that pain.. i've lost 5 games by 4 or fewer points. So 2 FGs each of those games (10 total) and I have a different season... and so far this season my kicker has 11 misses.

A big problem is my coach loves to have my kicker attempt 50+ shots. I wish this game tracked attempts by yardage like the NFL does. I really have to be one of the league leaders in 50+ yard attempts, i'll be shocked if i'm not.

Fortune is out for the Cardinal game - stress fracture in leg.

Fumbling the opening kickoff on the road was not the way the Mules wanted to start the game. 20-0 at the half was pretty much the game.

Good game David I did not think the Mules had much for the Fire and they did not. Worst 4 game road stretch EVER - lol

still technically in the AFCS divisional hunt. Gotta win out at home and hope for some luck.

HA, you are going to have to bring more offense than that to compete here. 118 total yards...welcome to the IFL!

Unless you love defense, the Pittsburgh-Fresno game was a big yawn for you. Two first half FG's by Pittsburgh was all that it took to wrap up the scoring in this game as the Power won 6-0. 18 combined punts, 1 fumble, and time running out in both halves ended the rest of he drives in the game. Fresno never got into the red zone the whole game, while Pittsburgh was 2 of 3 in the red zone.
Hey wait, I had 347 yards of offense, my 5th highest total of the year! Missed a FG and fumbled on 4th and goal, I should have been near 20 pts. even with playing conservative with the lead.

I think the defense played well though considering I had nothing to scout for the gameplan.

Good game Portland. We could not afford another loss if we want to keep our playoff hopes alive. Hopefully, Lansing kicks the shit out of Pitt next week.

Irby had a fine game this week, we need him to play great the remainder of the season.

Hopefully, we meet up one more time this season Bigglesworth. With more on the line this time. Looking forward to it.
