The division should be interesting down the stretch, but I have this sinking feeling the Cards are going to find a way to win it.

I'm less and less confident about my team, and the Voodoo are only a game behind all of us now, despite their slow start. So far all we know it could be LOU and STL battling it out like normal, and we were just here for show this season

It should be an interesting last few games though

Hartford ... tough game for you. Seems like the difference was:

      13 penalties - 105 yards
2 turnovers - one in the end zone
QB hassled on 17 plays: one sack, 2 Int, 2 dropped, 6 defensed, 2 blocked, and 4 hurries.
Offensive Redzone - 2 times with a field goal

      compared to
      3 penalties - 25 yards
      0 turnovers
QB hassled on 8 plays: one sack, 0 Int, 0 dropped, 5 defensed, 0 blocked and 2 hurries.
Redzone - 1 time with TD

I played "old man Cotter" in order to rest Lozier's crotch injury (second time this season for him with the same injury) - & hoping that my line could give him the opportunity to pull together a win. I would have considered playing Lozier if you did not have so many players injured.

In any case, we will meet again in another four weeks with a different landscape ... more health on your side of the ball and hopefully a healthy Lozier on mine. But if not there is still Cotter to fall back on. Incredible that Cotter (rated at a 27! ) is now 4-0 this season

        It's the SUMMERTIME!!!
Don't worry, even the SUMMERTIME!!! can't contain the joy of the playoff hunt.

Good game Mules.....kind of? lol. No really, I just got out ahead and my defense can kill ya when you've gotta go one dimensional.

My running game is finaly where I want it, we arn't that great but it's good enough, especially with the pass setting it up. And Hutton is clutch, his 3rd down bars are off the hook.

Look at that amazing AFC South, what a battle between 4 elite teams for a playoff spot. :P

Except for the AFC East it appears that 7 of the 8 divisions are gonna have a real fun stretch run. Boooyah.
        I luv British womenz.

I have already decided the AFC South is the focus of the front page this week. Just got to write it. That article is usually the last thing I update so it's not ready for a while.

Damn what a sucky week... this capped off a dreadful weekend.. wish I could say the team did their best but in all honesty we were manhandled by Crespo et al... that we can't contain the backs was obvious last week when as soon as Olivarez was injured we started giving up yards along the ground, as was the case today..

Add to that an offense that has lost not just one step with Max Brown gone, apparently we've lost just about every step.. Virgil isn't displaying the kind of magic he used to, and it's not just that he's missing receivers, it seems as if the entire O-line is struggling to give him assistance.. I've never had so many passes blocked at the line in one game as I had against Newark today.

Overall, a great effort from Newark, both offensively and defensively. Unfortunately, this game felt like it was our last chance.. I'm afraid we're out of the race now.

That is a hard game to watch. You moved the ball all day long up and down the field. I feel for you because I lost a game earlier this year to the Mules when my kicker missed 2 out of 3. But rOOK is right. It does not matter what the stats are if you miss 3 FG's you deserve to loose. I'll give some props to my D for keeping you out of the endzone.

That's 2 in a row for the VooDoo and dare I say we are back in a divisional race. UGLY! We should be a bit better in the next few weeks with the "Dominator" C Dominick Smith coming back off of an ACL injury. He should along with FB C Cole Greaves sure up some blocking that has been a thorn in our side all year. SS Burt Guyette will also be returning in a few which should help in the secondary, however, he will not be the same player he was before the torn lateral knee ligament he suffered last year. We need to get SE Elbert Castor more involved in the offense. He was suppose to be a threat so FL David Pereira would not be doubled so much, but that has not happened. Anyway, it feels good to be in the mix a little. Tough game next week with Texas and the Chung assault coming to town.

That game was brutal. Running games for boths sides were terrible. I got a krb on the first play, then went 1/28 the rest of the game. Brutal.

Then we're up by 7 with 1:20 to go and on third and long they complete a 81 yard pass to a FB. Team pulled together though and drove for the game-winning FG, the way both offenses were playing I thought we were destined for a tie.

Good game Lansing, hopefully the next one won't be as bad to watch!

The penalties were extremely uncharacteristic for us this year. I took a gamble that you were going to play Cotter and geared the defense towards that. They played well, heck the team played well for the most part, except of penalties and turnovers. I cannot wait until the rest of the line heals up because that really enables us to do more things with the ball and keep some pressure off the QB.

That said, you guys played one heck of a game. I think you guys must have stolen the Swiss Army Sphincter I had the first couple of years for pulling games out of! You guys are just too good, and it was a tight game, I just think you guys are going to blow us away next time in Norfolk since Lozier is going to be back.

                      Good game!
