have to tip my hat to pittsburgh in a real slugfest. nice battle of defenses as nelson only completed 4 passes to a WR or TE while on his way to being sacled twice and webb was held to only 33 yards on the ground. our D returned the favor holding rodriguez and long to only 19 yards each on 15 and 13 carries respecitvly. mann's drive with 1 minute to go to set up the 44 yard fg was the difference maker as we could get stops all day except the one time we needed it.Former GM Lansing Ogres

Good game Coder.
Crespo was dominant today, except for getting nailed on those 3rd and short conversions. I think I need a good OL or something so I can convert those. Sante played pretty darn good today. WR Andrew Robey had a terrific game catching 2 of 3 passes thrown his way for 45yds and adding a 53yd TD run on his only carry of the game
Vermont has now lost 4 straight games. Think they miss Max Brown at all?
Things are still very tight in the NFC East.
Sante is looking forward to his homecoming next week in Boston 8)NEWARK BULLDOGS WALL OF HONOR

Big win for the clawz. On the down side looks like half our starters are now questionable for next week beacuse of the flu.
So whats the story with the flu bug will playing these guys risk them to a more serious injury?GM Cleveland Clawz

I have never been afraid to start a player with the flu & I have never experienced any further injury to those players. However, you might anticipate that their endurance will be significantly impacted ... so I would adjust playing time accordingly.Originally posted by eckmanBig win for the clawz. I say this will a "full release fom liability" if you decide to start a player and he gets injured.

That had to be the most painful game i've ever watched. I dominated the game, yet lost. I'm finding new ways to lose every week, it's amazing. One of their TD's were handed to me on a few 3rd down penalties that allowed them to just march down the field.
But how to lose a game despite a 389-206 yard, 33:36-26:24 ToP advantage and few turnovers?
Easy.. 12 penalties (at home!?!?!?) for 95 yards, and 3 missed FGs.
I don't even know what to do differently. There is nothing I can do in my gameplan to prevent stupid penalties or 3rd down meltdowns.
Anyway, good game Lou. I'm making what should have been my first divisional win into an absolute meltdown which i'll probably miss the playoffs yet again.Steve Beans - Houston Renegades

I looked at your game ... seems like the 3 missed fiedl goals was the key ingredient for the loss. Your O provided the opportunity; but it is tough to win when a team puts together multiple drives and get no points in returnOriginally posted by SteveBsFan

Cardinals absoutly dominated the Mules in St. Louis. St. Louis was 16 for 20 on 3rd downs pretty much the ballgame there.
I think the Mules miss Zoomie Monroe?
Not a good start to the 4 game road trip.sigpic

Damn, we had our shot to make things REALLY interesting. Two INTs, one of which was critical and there go our chances of the playoffs...

Columbia continues to rebound from a slow start. Injuries continue to pile up on us though. This is the worst season we have had injury wise in some time. I feel like Jave... LOL
1 game back... Not sure I will be able to do much more though with the injuries...

Ouch. I had not seen that Taylor went down. That is a pretty bad thingfor your team, especially with him being pretty damn solid this year.Originally posted by HammeringJohnsoni need QB depth next season. My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours.
