So Brian Dixon has his best game of the year, and maybe his only real good one so far, to lead te Toads to victory. Nice. GOt a little banged up but nothing too bad.

    Other games:

Mules win, tie for first! Yikes.

Mercury Halbert has perhaps his best game in his three seasons....against Jeff. Oh the irony.

    Boston and WV tie.

Lots of running the ball today.

Skated by Vermont. Wow that was a close one. Thanks to rookie Edwards 3rd Quarter pick we hung on to win by 1 point. Now the injuries are piling up.

My defense sucks, and my one dimensional offense was shut down nicely by the Mules. I can't believe they swept the season series from me.

Looks like a shakeup in my gameplanning is coming up. I can't rely on Timmerman every week.

Can't believe this game. I switched my gameplan up a lot this week hoping for something.
Our D AGAIN, had some problems today.

End of the game run and this

          Code:
&Offense: Single-Back Formation, Trips WR, Strength = Left.

&Defense: 43 Alignment, Nickel Personnel, Man-to-Man (Loose), Pass - Aggressive. Blitzing: 59 McCourt.

3-10-DAK40 (02:16) NWK 2 Sante pass completed to 23 Crespo for 5 yards.

          Tackled by DAK 35 Davis.

&Crespo gained 5 yards after the catch.

Offical time out for the two-minute warning.

          &Offense: Punt Formation.

          4-05-DAK35 (02:00) NWK 12 Laliberte punted 35 yards from the DAK35. Touchback.
I was sitting here screaming "GO FOR IT". But I understand a nice conservative coach.

We end up with the ball back and

          Code:
          &Offense: I-Formation, Normal, Strength = Right.

&Defense: 43 Alignment, Dime Personnel, Man-to-Man (Loose), Pass - Aggressive.

3-10-DAK22 (00:37) NWK 2 Sante pass completed to 88 Peltier for 22 yards and a touchdown!

&Peltier gained 1 yard after the catch.

Penalty: NWK - Offensive Pass Interference.

          --

          &Offense: Single-Back Formation, Normal, Strength = Right.

&Defense: 43 Alignment, Dime Personnel, 4-Deep Zone, Pass - Aggressive. Blitzing: 40 Willis.

3-20-DAK32 (00:24) NWK 2 Sante pass fell incomplete, intended for 23 Crespo.

DAK 94 Araujo hurried the quarterback into a bad throw.

&The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.

&Offense: Weak Formation, Normal, Strength = Right.

&Defense: 43 Alignment, Dime Personnel, 2-Deep Zone, Pass - Aggressive. Blitzing: 57 Neace.

          4-20-DAK32 (00:15) NWK 2 Sante scrambled for 3 yards.

          Tackled by DAK 37 Lesher.

The ball goes over on downs.
The frustrations this game, in this league, absolutely kill me. This was a must win game. Especially since ORL beat VER, and LAW lost.

No one seems to want this division.

I need to beat Vermont next week

OJ Boyer had 16 tackles, 3 assists, and 2 forced fumbles!

The defense was more porous than I would have liked, but I wasn't sure what I needed to protect against.

The offense was dreadful in the passing game, oddly enough we were better on longer patterns than we were on the shorter patterns. :? But, the running game was awesome. We ran for the second highest total in team history, and we had two 100 yard rushers.

Stanley Jamison has over 700 yards rushing on the season, but scored his first rushing TD of the year today.

10 of WIC's points came off of turnovers.

I gotta enjoy this victory while I can, because I think we are going to be drilled next week. Just gotta survive three more weeks until our OL is back to full strength.

                This also confuses me

                Code:
&Offense: Single-Back Formation, Four WR, Strength = Right.

                &Defense: 43 Alignment, 4-Deep Zone, Run - Aggressive.

1-10-NWK10 (02:34) NWK 2 Sante pass completed to 40 Blain for 12 yards.

                Tackled by DAK 92 Bowser.

&Blain gained 14 yards after the catch.

Penalty: DAK - Defensive Holding. Penalty was declined.
Sante does not even know a 4 rec formation :? .....not that it bothers me!

4 turnovers and a missed FG was to much to overcome today. Our 2nd year qb learning on the fly almost pulled it out will a long drive at the end but int in the endzone put a end to the late comeback.

Congrats Montreal we had your number lately... until today.

When Colella plays up to his potential, we're much better than a 3-7 team. I've been saying that for a while (to myself anyway) and today confirms it. VICTORIO GRANDE as they say in Columbia. Wait.. we're in British Columbia...

When I saw that Sante threw the TD with 35 seconds left on the clock, I thought...OH NO! not again! I've been beat on so many last minute drives its pathetic...and I've even messed around with my defensive scheme under two minutes. Anyway. To see the pass interference was a true relief.

We finally got a home win. Getting our first safety ever was a turning point in the game.

However...we lost another player for the season. Ryan McCellion- WR

At least you didn't lose to them.

WVA is going to be nasty in a few years, they picked up Kersey, and they should be able to get a stud with their draft pick this year.

Timmerman seems to punish the Mules early then becomes almost invisible. Been the pattern for a couple of years now. I did not chart it but Timmerman had 133 yards running and recieving for the game and I bet 100 of them were before the half. Odd.

Mules were oppertunistic again with a blocked FG that turned out to be big, as they usually are.

I will admit I am printing out this weeks standings and putting them in the front of my "Mules" notebook. First place after 9 games, granted it is with a sub .500 record, but it is still 1st place. Got a brutal 4 game road trip starting next week in St. Louis.
