Good game Houston. I have no clue how my Seals defense held Timmerman to under 100 yards rushing, but it didn't matter as the Houston defense locked Caro and company down. I really expected the offenses to shine in this game, but instead the defenses held their own.
I had the game in my hand late in the fourth, being up 23-19, but then they pull out the hail-fucking-mary on me... The 2007-version of Vermont is the most undiscplined team I've had so far. I have more fumbles and penalties than all other seasons combined this year...

Thanks, it had the making of a blowout very early, I couldn't stop Caro, then suddenly my defense learned the offense or something, and was able to shut him down the rest of the way, even when Sanders tried to hand the game over by throwing the ball (resulting in a pick) instead of handing it off to burn the clock out late in the game.
Wild game..
4 sacks
4 INTs
6 Fumbles / 3 lost
Don't lose hope though, you have a big game next week 8)

Wow I thought we had a good chance to win and probably a very tough time running but Ho averaged only 2 yards a carry. At least we held Dakota to 126 yards, 0 for 10 on third downs and only let them have the ball for 18 minutes. Now it is on to Madison, whom we have never beaten. I am not looking forward to that one, but they do have to come to Pirate Island for this one.
Good game Orlando. We contained Ho, but Hynes killed us on 3rd down almost every time. Hooten was terrible, and the pressure you brought had him scrambling all day long. Should have handed it to Carmack and Andrews in the rain, but what's done is done...we were just downright outplayed.
We actually played fairly well today. I'll take the win against a pretty stout Montreal team. I'm a little unhappy with how many points they scored, but a TD is to be expected when you give them the ball on your own 17 yard line.
Bernie Reid deserves the game ball this week, 5 punts, 45+ YPA, and 4 inside the 20!
Hickman had a solid game, no turnovers, and three TDs, a new Hartford Grizzly record. Pretty sad, when you think about it. Still, the offense did what I wanted them to do this week, and we move to 4-3. We have our bye week next week, and should hit week 9 relatively healthy. If we get lucky with a couple of our injuries, we might be at full strength come week 12, if we can get our line back intact, we should be able to make a playoff push.
We have a brutal schedule for the last quarter of the season, we need to make some hay over the next two weeks to have a chance.

Thanks for the props. I thought you were going to run so I switched Wolf to SS because of his monster run stopping power. My D line has not changed in 4 seasons yet this year they are finally getting it done. Weird.
feels good not to go to overtime. feels even better to give up less then 33 points for only the 3rd time all season. good all around team effort. webb with 2 td's. razo 2 more sacks. since coming over from newark nelson is sporting a 100.6 qb rating with 6 td's and 0 ints. our offense is explosive (2nd in the league despite having backups play 2 1/2 games)..if our defense can do SOMETHING then we're a dangerous team. a win next week and we're back in the hunt for the division.
Paging Mr. Colella. Paging Mr. Colella. We have a clipboard waiting for you on the sidelines. Please take your head out of your rectum and report to Mr. Copeland.
Congrats to the Snipes ... as for the game, there were rather lackluster performances by both offenses. D's for both teams played stoutly.
A possible re-match in the off season would be nice.
I am quite happy with my offensive performance. I know it seems meager but Sammy played well, and din't make any mistakes.
It was a good defensive battle though, but it feels good to take out the top team in the league. I now know that I can play with any team in the league.
