Good game Suicane. Sorry about the injury, without that we were doomed. We couldn't stop McMurray at all. I think you converted every single 3rd down until he got injured.

When I said down side, I meant slow downside. The Imperial Bowl trip was a peak, and with each year I am losing good players. I never said I don't still have a good team.Originally posted by iceman99I love how Cringer said his team was on the down side and he is 4-2 and leading the division again...
... Nice poker face...
Although I am just happy with the wins right now, because my stats are pretty ugly compared to the previous two seasons. Trust me David, when I picked you to win the division, I was hoping it was one tie breakers with myself.
P. Luxx kind of summed it up. That was not an impressive win, as none of my wins really have been. You did beat me up a little P. Luxx, my backup TE, who plays a pretty good amount is now out for the year. And Flores always goes down, so my TE position could be ugly down the road.
Mosley missed two FG's today too. He is not doing as well as last season. Maybe I should cut him so Jeff can pick him up.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

I think I need to take a hiatus from loving my damn team too much.

It was a good effort from the Whales, so I'm not completely heartbroken, despite losing another one in the 4th quarter. The team is green and we have some key injuries that are leaving some gaping holes in our defense. But the blocking is getting better and Colella is starting to turn it around a little. A mediocre effort from 17, but that's better than his horrendous first couple games. The Baby Balugas: D'Arcy, Muleboy Borders, Pierce, Reed, et al, keep getting a little better each game. Gelling around our young left tackle Burgess, who had a huge day with seven key run blocks. Still have a long way to go but the only way to build cohesion is to just keep at it.Originally posted by CringerOriginally posted by iceman99I love how Cringer said his team was on the down side and he is 4-2 and leading the division again...

btw, i'm glad to see Whiting is really developing. He's now 9 for his last 10, and the 1 miss I believe was a 50+ yarder. I definitely dont' regret using a 2nd rounder for him now, but I did last year.Steve Beans - Houston Renegades

It took 6 weeks, but the Boston defense finally showed up. We pitched a shutout against Montreal. We had 5 sacks and 3 INT's.
Raymond Webb must have been inspired by the new team banner as he had his best game in his rookie season. Webb made 4 tackles and added 2 sacks.
Burdette had another solid game in the rain. He was 18/22 for 155 yds. with 0 INT's which was enough to get us the win.2013 AC East Champions

As far as LT Burgess goes, Shawn Hernandez would have had his ass for lunch. Thornberry isn't much of a fill in so far for Hernandez though.
Colella did do ok for you though. Better then many of his past games.
I do want to say I am glad I went with a pretty heavy passing offense this game. Dixon has been horrible, and was horrible again today in his limited touches. The guy must have been in love with running off of James Brown's backside, because that is the only change in front of him.
The only thing with going heavy pass was that I looked at Perez and said to myself that as long as we can over come atleast one INT from him then I think it will work. Sure enough, the guy got an INT. Made it worse he scored a TD on it. But, the fumble balanced it out in the end. :PMy banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours.
