Week 4, the quarter mark of the season, the end of the first 4 games, where nothing is settled but the horizon of a teams fortunes can start to be seen. Lets take a look at the upcoming jousts this Sundays IFL schedule provides shall we?
Albuquerque (2-1) At St. Louis (1-2)
Cardinals trying not to slip to 1-3 face the tough task of trying to gore the MAtadors.
Dakota (2-1) At Lawrence (2-1)
Inter-Conference matchup between 2 up and coming teams looking to establish themselves as legit contenders.
Hartford (2-1) At Cleveland (2-1)
The Grizzlies and the Clawz, this one will be a BEAR of a game, huzzah.
Houston (1-2) At Fresno (0-3)
The Chaos will try to get well on their first non stud opponent of the season, add up the frustration and the chance to get a weaker team at home and the Chaos could unleash fire and brimstone on the Renegades.
Iowa City (2-1) At Boston (1-2)
Despite the rough early season schedule, the Dragons have a chance to walk out of this one 2-2 if they can get a win at home. The Snipe Hunters however are looking to establish themselves as a Conference contender and a road win here could do just that.
Lansing (0-3) At Newark (2-1)
A pre-season sleeper to alot of people, Lansing has suffered horrible luck thru the first 3 weeks. It will be an uphill battle trying to get win #1 in Newark this Sunday.
Murfreesboro (2-1) At Anchorage (3-0)
The Lynx continue to roll along in search of a 2nd IFL title, Murfreesboro meanwhile may have as much confidence as they've ever had, in the history of the franchise.
Norfolk (3-0) At Wichita (0-3)
Uh oh, is that a snake in the Wichita grass, look out boys, it's coming to bite you. LOOK OUT!!!
Oakland (2-1) At Little Rock (1-2)
Can the Toads avoid a 1-3 start? On paper this should be a pretty fun game but we don't play em on paper. Still, Given to Kennedy is as good a foe for Hamilton to Bice as you'll find in the league, should be a dandy game.
Pittsburgh (1-2) At Vermont (2-1)
The Power pulled off an impressive win last week vs Oakland, now they have to go on the road against a formidable Conference fo. This has the potential to be a game of the week as 2 NFC title contenders go head to head.
Reno (3-0) At Texas (2-1)
2 Upstart NFC teams looking to take another step toward title contention, should be a real fun matchup.
Salt Lake City (2-1) At Tulsa (1-2)
The Cows have struggled a bit in the early going, and it wont get any easier as the Stallions come to town looking to keep the pressure on Reno in the NFC West. Tulsa has a good team though and a win here would serve them well as they look to stay in the early season hunt.
Vancouver (0-3) At Columbia (1-2)
The Fire have been flaming out early on but nothing gets the house burning down like a visit from the Whales. A big blob of blubber can burn for weeks.
West Virginia (0-3) At Montreal (2-1)
In recent years this has been a nice little inter-conference rivalry, but now the only thing keeping Beasts fans glued to their tv's is rookie Nick Kersey, it's a building block for sure, but Montreal has to be licking their chops heading into this weeks matchup.
