12 for 123 on penalty yards and SLC held the ball for over 40 minutes.

It was my plan to keep the ball out of Crespo's hands and force Nelson to keep pace with Booker. Damn idea worked 8)

What sucks is that I have unsuccessfully tried to make Tart the focus of this offense over the past 18 or so games---all the while wondering why we can't score :? and today I pass first and ole' Duece throws for 419 yards and 3 scores.

        Good game Pirates!

Yeah, our pass blocking is a major concern. Our young front line is still gelling. It's going to be a while, but it will happen.

I'm not sure if I should be upset that Collela will be out for a few games. He's been absolutely retched so far this season.
(And it's not all 'protection issues'. )

Actually, so is ours. They cannot block crap, but Hynes is playing for a contract so he is playing his best yet.

Interesting gameplan Pitt, but this week it worked. Not to worried about the one loss. I lost 4 out of 7 to start the season last year, and was just fine. With everyone ragging me about the free agency bullshit, and now the loss, I think I will just take the week off and see ya guys saturday.

Nice game Iceman...We couldn't get anything started despite picking off Cartenga in the redzone twice. Hooten really missed Camp not being in the lineup, and now McCourt and Schaffer are injured. It keeps getting worse, despite a 2-1 start.

was a close game till Granger went out with what turned out to be a seperated shoulder. Mules really got after Maloney getting 2 picks late to seal the win. Wichita is better than their record. Count your team lucky if ya play them in the first half of the season.

Fortune got another owie on his ankle.

Mules are in their best shape ever at 1 game over .500 and all alone in 1st place. Might throw a parade of something - lol

And sadly Granger is my no. 2. Now Scott is out 3 more weeks (separated shoulder from last week's game) and Granger is out 4 more weeks (separated shoulder from this week's game). Gonna be an ugly couple games with the no. 3 leading the charge.

As much as Sante tried to give the game away we actually won a game.

                        WOOT!

Sante threw 2 more INT's and fumbled the ball away at the Portland 1 yd. line. Then after taking the lead with less than a minute left, we allow Caro to march down the field and commit an unsportsmanlike penalty to allow them to attempt a game tying FG. Lucky for us it cam up short.

                        Good game Portland.

Portand's kicker has missed a bunch of kicks if I'm not mistaken.
