Beckner had 5 catches for 67 yards, not too bad by my passing game considering the offensive line I put out there.

Regarding the 3 WR's, I thought Beckner was the best all around receiver, but I was leaning towards Field because of his volatility (I would have hated a bust, glad Beckner didn't). From what I remember, Beckner was fastest, or 2nd fastest, and the tallest.

Beckner sacrifices getting downfield and route running for his ability to avoid drops, which seems to be a weakness for Jarvis. That fits in with my system better, as i'm looking for more sure handed receivers. I don't like the lack of courage, but that wasn't a strong point for any of the three.

I'm not sure who the better overall receiver is, but I know Beckner is already at a disadvantage this season with Markel throwing to him opposed to Stclair. The other two should put up better numbers with Terrell and Caro.
Don't knock Markel. He played well for me last year when he made it to the field.

Hey, I like him, I wouldn't have traded for him otherwise I don't think he's in the same class as Terrell and Caro yet though. Who knows, maybe he'll play closer to his potential instead of his current.

Our rookie guard had too many people rooting for him. We're going to call him Mule Borders from now on.

I've only been playing 7 of 22 starters, and two of them have gotten hurt already.

One of the lowest scoring games ever this week, a 3-0 shut-out of IWC. The game featured 4 turnovers in the red zone and 2 missed field goals. Yikes.

I just made a startling discovery, after having my secondary cohesion go down to 67, after playing a couple of games with the same guys it is up to 80! Regardless of what other people are doing with their players, a 13 point jump is still pretty good.

I know Jim starts off slow in IHOF, he also sits almost all of his starters, could the slow start be due to not building cohesion until the start of the season? :scratchhead:

Another cool thing for us, Charles Overton has gone from a 32/70 player to a 40/70 player over the off-season so far.

Very nice. Only one more game to see how my side of the trade is going to work out. I think Markel is going to have a decent year.

Looks like Chaplin will be starting week 1. . .In a 3-0 loss, both of my QBs were injured. And Chaplin was only in for 2-3 plays.

I was impressed with QB Dwight Burger. He would've set some passing records had this been the regular season. He would've been the first Bulldog QB to throw for over 300yds. Scary isn't it?

Can't wait to see what he does today. Last chance for guys to make an impression.

 It wasn't anything personal. I didn't even look to see who I was playing until after I made the export. I just wanted to get them some playing time for some reason. Wanted a feel for my team I guess. And of course TE Flores gets banged up a little. I think I may just nickname hime 'Glass'. It fits in the game....
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Damn, I think Bernard Rockwell has been more impressive than Rob Richardson this preseason.
