There is no way Suicane is talking about soccer. He don't cotton to no kickball.Originally posted by P. LuxxI'm guessing he means Major League Soccer.
We always blame the ripped up Foxboro field on the Revs. I do, anyway. Otherwise, I don't know who'd even know they exist."Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

Kickball! That's priceless. One of my co-workers is from India and has been refering to (our kind of) football as 'footer' for a while now and it didn't connect for me at first. I also just broke my foot and ankle. So, all this time he's been saying, "How's your footer" and I'd answer with something about my foot, when he's been refering to my FOF leagues.Originally posted by JeffThere is no way Suicane is talking about soccer. 2. Predict the winner of your division Vermont
3. Predict the winner of your conference Little Rock
4. Predict the Imperial Bowl winner Little Rock
5. Predict a breakout player on your team OJ Peltier
6. Predict your team MVP Alan Crespo
Scott Nelson will have his best year as a pro. not saying much, I know.
Alan Crespo will have his higest YPC of his career
We will make the damn playoffs this year :P
Alan Crespo will have a better year than Gaston Lomelli
Kraig Marasco will matter for a change. He'll have more than 4 TDs
The aforementioned OJ Peltier will amass over 500yds receiving
Scott Fortune will keep the rookie RB success going, and break all the Mules rushing records.
Tim Austin will struggle a little bit this year
Jave will tell someone that they're on crack, or that they're a crackhead
Reuben Caffrey will end up the best WR of the 2005 class
Wilford Timmerman will rush for over 1500 yards
Gene Hamilton will learn another formation by 2009
I was off on a couple of things but I think for the most part I had a lot of things right. Not saying much, as I never really went out on a limb.
The "Jave" "crackhead" comment didn't really take long despite hiim bowing out

Re: 2007 Owner Predictions (with new predictions OMG)
So I underestimated my team, that was kind of on purpose. Was wrong about Vermont.Originally posted by Cringer1. Predict your team's record - 10-6
2. Predict the winner of your division - Columbia Fire
3. Predict the winner of your conference - Vermont Mountaineers
4. Predict the Imperial Bowl winner - Anchorage Lynx
5. Predict a breakout player on your team - WR Richard Hathcock
6. Predict your team MVP - DE Karl Cronin
7. Rookie of the Year - RB Scott Fortune, Mules
8. Crespo, Beaver, or Austin crack the 2,000 yard rushing mark.
9. The 'always strong' NFC East gets two teams into the playoffs for only the second time.
10. Tulsa breaks the 8-8 mark.
11. With Holst gone, WR Randolph Kennedy gets over 1,100 yards receiving.
12. TE Joseph Flores plays in every game this year. (Haha, not a chance)
4. We shall see about te Lynx still I guess.
5. Hathcock did alright, but he didn't 'breakout' like I thought by getting over 1000 yards receiving.
6. Cronin may just have been my MVP, not a bad pick by me there.
7. Wrong about Fortune.
8. Wrong. only Crespo
9. Wrong.
10. Wrong, i should have said Texas I guess.
11. Na, Kennedy didn't get close.
12. Flores started 12, played in 15. That's as close as he'll ever get I am sure.My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Re: 2007 Owner Predictions (with new predictions OMG)
1) What was I thinking? I think I was being optimistic. It really wasn't that far-fetched, but still, 9-7 was much more realistic.Originally posted by Warhammer1. Predict your team's record 10-6
2. Predict the winner of your division Norfolk
3. Predict the winner of your conference Norfolk
4. Predict the Imperial Bowl winner Norfolk
5. Predict a breakout player on your team QB Jim Hickman
6. Predict your team MVP QB Jim Hickman
7. The Grizzlies will have over 3000 yards passing.
8. Oakland's season will be derailed by injuries.
9. Montreal will win the AC North.
2-4) Still possible.
5) Jim Hickman had a good year as a QB. While it wasn't the breakout I predicted, our offense has been more dynamic. If we didn't turn the ball over so much (many of our turnovers have been fumbles), he might have looked better.
6) Stanley Jamison or Tony Martin get the nod here.
7) We had more than we have had in the past, but nowhere close to 3000.
9) What was I thinking?
2003 IFL AC East Runner-Up - Wildcard 10-6
2004 IFL AC East Runner-UP - Wildcard - AC Runner-up 10-5-1
2005 3rd Place AC East 6-10 2007 2nd Place AC East 8-8
2006 3rd Place AC East 7-9 2008 2nd Place AC East 9-7
2009 1st Place AC East, Imperial Bowl Champions 13-3
