i beg to differ. his ratings are all gaudy, but he plays like a 60 at best. maybe he just needed a change of scenery, but i was more then happy to move him and free up that cap space.

Naaa. I have 3 key players this year I have to resign, and I don't have the cap space to add even ONE player. Even if I could have traded him for a top 10 pick, the fact is, I cannot afford to pay any more players. I can't even afford the meger draft picks I have this year!

Bullshit! Without him, we would NOT have even made it past the WC round. He is a primetime player.

It wouldn't have been hard to tag him and trade him for a 2009 1st or 2nd (or whatever). You could've made concessions with your cap until a trade was made (which probably would've been fast).

I just want to go on record as saying that so far this off-season has been a success. We got a stud OG and a solid S. We upgraded our WR corps. Now all we need to do is get a CB and we're back in business (thank you draft gods!)

If I can get both Brito and Frausto that would be a real coup for our secondary. I just hope he holds off another stage so I can figure out my cap situation and modify my bid.
