I do not think the NC is as much of a problem as the AC is. Currently we have:

      1) Madison will wrap up the homefield advantage with a win OR a Reno loss.

      2) Reno has wrapped up the NC West due to their division record. They can take the homefield advantage with a win AND a Madison loss.

      3) Orlando can wrap up the #3 seed with a win vs. Tulsa this week. If they lose, they get the #4 seed.

      4) Tulsa can wrap up the #3 seed with a win vs. Orlando. They can wrap up the division with a win OR a Columbia loss.

      5) Vancouver can get in as the WC with a win, or a Fargo loss, (in the case of the loss, they own the divisional tie-break over SLC due to superior record against common opponents). In the case of a loss, Lansing would own the head to head tie break, Vancouver owns the tie break with SLC, so they get in as the #6 seed.

      6) SLC is in with a win and a Lansing loss AND a Fargo loss (with Van. owning the divisional tie-break, they are out with a Lansing win). If they lose, they are in if Lansing, Fargo, and Columbia lose.

      6) Lansing has the tie break advantage over Fargo, so if they win and SLC loses they are in as the #5 seed (due to head-to-head this week with Vancouver). They are also in with a Fargo loss, SLC loss, and a Columbia loss.

      7) Columbia is in with a win AND a Lansing loss AND a Fargo loss AND a SLC loss (they win the conference record tie-break in a 4-way race).

      8) Fargo is in with a win, AND a Lansing loss (Fargo will win a tie-break with SLC due to head-to-head). If Fargo loses, they cannot get in.

This is easier than the AC because each team owns the tie-break over another that is broken with conference records or head-to-head. The problem is with the #3 in one div. vs. the #2 in another div.

        smartass.... :P

kidding, thanks for that. only thing that you looked over was Columbia gets in if they win and Tulsa losses. That should give Columbia the division title with the better divisional record.

but y, i admit i was lazy and wanted to focus on a few other things instead today,...

I am just going to believe you except that I disagree with your first statement - It IS that much of a problem

Although under furthur review the odds are slim to none, assuming FOF does the tiebreaking correctly...ah well maybe i can play spoiler. It's been a fun couple of weeks for my Fresno team.

Gunner, for taking over so late in the season even coming close to the playoffs is an accomplishment!

Who is in a crappy division?

In the AC East one has homefield division throughout the playoffs (mind you this team has a 2-3 division record), and the second and third place teams are playing for a shot in the playoffs this week. If our 4th place team had won last week, he would have a shot at the playoffs as well!

                          Thanks Warhammer.

As for the game against Fargo, hopefully I can play the spoiler role and continue on a roll into next season.

I made a few adjustments in my bye week that have really helped out down the stretch. My defence has been playing great, hopefully i can keep the nucleus of it together.

The Grizzlies have to get past the Vipers first,

... the Vipers also split with "high & mighty" West Virginia in division play and we look forward to our rubber game as well!
