You just might end up breaking some hearts by believing that you know exactly how the tiebreakers work in this game.Originally posted by roadrashVancouver has the first WC spot lokked up. . .If you win, And Fargo loses to Fresno. . Poopyhead or not the Pirates just took the division. Never thought that would have happened. Also what I never thought would have happened was the aging Dewitt Flynn going native two weeks in a row. I had to bench him for 3 weeks and then in the rankings Flynn gets ripped on. I think he just got pissed and woke up. 125 with a 5.4 ypc last week and now 153 with 5.1. The old man woke up just in time. Division or not we will be playing Tulsa for bragging rights. Does the winner get a first week bye in the playoffs? Not sure on that one.

The first tie breaker should be Head-to-head. . .that settles about 90% of tiesOriginally posted by sovstarYou just might end up breaking some hearts by believing that you know exactly how the tiebreakers work in this game.Originally posted by roadrashVancouver has the first WC spot lokked up. . .If you win, And Fargo loses to Fresno. . Ok. With a tight win against the MULES, I still have a chance. I thought Columbia really had a good chance against my nemesis St. Louis but to no avail. Now I need to take care of business against the TOADS, and TEXAS to step-up big time at home against St. Louis. WOW!
I do have a what if scenario. For the wild card, if I finish 9-7 tied with Albuquerque(assuming we both win), what is the first tie breaker? Head to head play? If so, good for me because it beat them week 1. I also have the head to head advantage against Hartford.
What if St. Louis wins(clinches division), Hartford(10-6) wins and clinches 1st wildcard, Louisiana looses(8-8), Albuquerque (8-8) looses to Anchorage (8-8), and Norfolk(8-8) beats Hartford. Who gets the 2nd wildcard? I'm so confused! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After doing some quick research over at IHOF, it looks like any problems pertaining to the tiebreakers were put to rest. I found a thread where Jim himself was talking about the various tiebreaking scenarios in the league. That about says it."Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

By my calculations I've still got an outside shot at the second wild card.
Columbia defeats Newark
Vancouver defeats Lansing
Fargo loses to Fresno
Salt Lake City loses to Reno
-Columbia, Lansing, Fargo, and SLC all with 9-7 records
-Lansing rids Fargo out of next tiebreak with a 2-0 head-to-head advantage
-Columbia wins via 8-4 conference record, SLC 7-5, Lansing 6-6"Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins
