I am going to stick with my pre-season pick. The Vipers are going to face a tough battle, but will win the time of possession battle, and keep Hamilton and co. off the field. The result will be a hard fought 24-17 Vipers win!
And if r00k finds a way to blow it, I'll sweep him next year as punishment!
2003 IFL AC East Runner-Up - Wildcard 10-6
2004 IFL AC East Runner-UP - Wildcard - AC Runner-up 10-5-1
2005 3rd Place AC East 6-10 2007 2nd Place AC East 8-8
2006 3rd Place AC East 7-9 2008 2nd Place AC East 9-7
2009 1st Place AC East, Imperial Bowl Champions 13-3
Oakland made it this far even though in the regular season they gave up 22.1 points per game. The Columbia game was the first in three playoff games their opponent got out of the teens though.
Oddly enough, both teams put up about the same amount of points. The injuries could play a part though. On the other hand, Norfolk can play in a shoot out just as well as anyone, they put up points even though they don't get noticed as much for it.
It's a hard one for sure. I need to stick with defense wins championships though and so whoever's D stands up and makes plays will get it (like when St. Louis shut me down last Imperial Bowl). I lean towards Norfolk I think....I think. 28-24
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.
I had planned on doing an audio broadcast and upping it, but I think the big guy went to bed early after a rough day. I wouldn't count on seeing anything till morning.
Congrats to both teams really are in order here. Both teams played like champions in this game with some big plays. I guess I was wrong about the defense wins championships this time though, both of these teams seemed to be all offense.
Not one turnover from either team. Only three drives that did not end in a score, combined. Just pure offense. The TV ratings should have broken all records.

Just finished watching it on the viewer. I am speechless.
 3 punts the entire game, and that is a total for both teams!
 The ending reminded me of the San Fran - Cincy Superbowl with Lozier playing the part of Montana.
 The Vipers are glad to bring one home for the AFC which now evens out the wins by each conference at two each.
 Jave ... hats off to you and your offensive juggernault. What a force!
 On the other hand, I think Cringer may have said it earlier, but the Vipers have also put up some points on the Board this year (I think 3rd highest per game, right behind the Assassins). But I honestly did not expect a shootout in this game but was pleased to see the team rise to the occasion especailly after the entire right side of my O line got sidelined vs. Cleveland. The walking wounded cheered their backups from the bench.
 When MVP Lozier was asked for comment, he said, " I'm off to Mardi Gras. I think I'll skip the Disneyworld stuff and head to where I really can let it go!"
