What can I say? Despite a ton of key injuries this year that was not the reason I played so horribly. I've got a ton of talent on this team despite not having a stud RB, I won with a proverbial backup last year so thats no excuse. I simply faltered at gameplanning, I stunk it up plain and simple.

My QB also has not played up to expectations despite what I try to do with him. Early in the year I thought it was me, now Im leaning towards believing it's him, or a combination, or......hell if I know, but this is majorly dissapointing. I really wanted to be the first repeat champion. :cry:

Thought this was strange. Game kept the first down marker at the 15 throughout the series which again I thought was strange. I think it should have been 1-10 from the 18 after the dead ball penalty making the first down marker the 8 instead of the 15. FWIW Mules got stopped at the 17 for a FG.

I don't want to think about how bad my D is. This is like the somethingth game in a row the Mules have blown a lead. Difference in the game, as it often seems to be in a Cardinal/Mule game, was Maldonado. couple more sacks, a block or two and a handful of hurries. Cards got 4 sacks Mules not hardly any pressure in a close game.

maybe Cronin from LRK unless he is franchised, but they have cap problems even without his salary so who knows.

he is going to be a restricted FA, if he is available at some point it wouldn't be until late in the offseason.

Just touting my own players, but Kelly Little was targeted only one more time than Martinez, but had 11 catches for 168 yards and a TD. He also had a 16 yard reception on third down that iced the game, a game that was a virtual playoff game. I thought he had a better game, but reasonable people could disagree

it wasn't an easy choice, but Martinez's YPC put him over the top for me.

trust me some of these weeks are real hard to choose and I have to nit-pick. I have no hard feelings when someone complains when their player was a legit contender.

Thanks man. It really feels good to finally get the crown after watching you get every damm tie breaker in the world. I'm already looking forward to next year and battling it out with you and the other guys. I'll try my best to represent but man Anchorage is good. They put a pounding on me early this year at home. Let's hope we don't see a repeat of that drumming.
