I'll be the first to admit we're not doing crap this year. As I said at the start of the year, expect 5-11 and look for better things next year. I'll say this though, if I have another draft like I have had the last two years, I will be happy, and we should compete for the division.

God damn it what the fuck. Who do I have to blow around here to get some good luck? Is the kicking power stat meaningless? How about the coach's avoid injury rating? By the end of the game I had 8 of my top 25 players out of the game, and the FOF gods can't even let a 15 power guy miss a 57 yard FG for me.
Seriously, who do I blow? I would prefer Suicane over Cringer, because he is closer and looks more feminine (not in general, just compared to Cringer).

CHRIST dude! Your team looks like mine did last year. It won't help ya shit this year, but I gave my team another half hour in stretching to avoid injuries, during training camp. I am POSITIVE it helped, as I have my FIRST serious injury this week, and have not really been hampered with those stupid nagging injuries at all this year. How about the coach's avoid injury rating? Sorry, never did answer your question. Why the fuck is Bice the best? Answer that question and try to do so diligently for once.
4th all time in catches
6th all time in yards
3rd all time in touchdowns
Not to mention the catches he has this year are just "clutch". Every one of them has been big time. Most teams are doubling Martinez, leaving Bice to win or lose the game. And he has proven time in and time out, if you leave the game in his hands, Oakland is going to win the majority of them.

You were the 1st division champ when the league fired up. I think the approach was to load up and try to stretch it out. Then the team imploded for some reason and now you are paying the price for that strategy.Originally posted by eckmanThanks Hartford by kicking our ass you just made my decision real easy to now play a few of my young guys mainly our rookie qb.
We are the most overated team in the league and it isn't even close. The worst thing to happen to us was winning so many games early to make us think otherwise.
It's to bad the previous owner seemed to trade his first rounders away so we have no real good young guys in the system.
The defense is a real weak spot for this team so if we do manage to back into the playoffs we aren't going very far.GM Wichita Outlaws

Nice to get a win. I think our game ranks up there with the Houston/San Fran duel. This game had big draft order implications.Originally posted by KobeckWell the Mules bus ride home from Wichita is gonna be bumpy. Only IFL team eliminated from the PO's and only team with 10 losses. Rookie QB Peterson was responsible for 6TO's in the 6 point loss - dissappointing to say the least.
Game was decided by the DB's. Mules DB's gave up 4 big pass plays and the Outlaw DB's had 5 picks and 8 passes defensed
Obviously dissappointed with a bunch of things so far this season, but also pleased with some things.
At this point the main goal is to NOT have the #1 overall pick for 2 seasons in a row - just embarassing.

I like Bice, and most definitely wouldn't have traded him if I could do it over without being such a newbie at the time, but i'd have to say Jones is better. Jk, wanted to work you up a bit. I do think Gomez is probably the better receiver, especially if you go by career #'s. He's having an off-year, but even with that he still outranks Bice in TD's, YDs, AVG, and TD/Drop ratio. This is really like a Moss vs TO debate, personality aside it's hard to argue with either, but i'd give the edge to Gomez.Originally posted by JaveSorry, never did answer your question. Why the fuck is Bice the best? That being said though, Bice is not very far behind at all. 12 of his drops came from his rookie year, he's yet to play a 16 game season so his numbers may be much better if healthier, and did play for a pretty bad unnamed team for his first two seasons, though he did have a great QB those years so it wasn't THAT bad for him.
It's hard to argue against Max Brown, Whitaker, Ramos, as well. I wish Jones was still on that list

Hummm... Kobeck you do not have to worry about me. I am not phased by Jave. He is all talk. Thats cool. I respect others opinions this is a free country... All is well in the world.
Simple fact is I showed the stats. Call it talking smack... But atleast I did not have to spend 20 minutes writing a bio to try and back it up. And I also kept mine from being insulting, childish, and profanity laden.
I mean I will admit that I did claim a good team. I could never argue with that. Jeff thanks for the Fire dude... Appreciate it, you da man. But kinda sucks that a new guy comes in and makes it all the way to the Divison Title game in his first season. Can't say that was because of the roster I had, because if it was all about rosters you should have never lost a game.
Simple fact is... Bice is a great player I do not think anyone is saying he is not. Career wise he is a stud...GM Columbia Fire

I was a center in high school (and almost college except for that drop out thing). So shut up you squirrel-humper. :xOriginally posted by SuicaneI love the gay undertones involved with arguing which fat man who gets played grab ass with all year is better. My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

So I've now won 10 in a row, tying the league record. I'm allowing an average of 6.25 points per game over my last 8 games. I set or tied 4 team records against Boston. My defense got my franchise it's 4th shutout (the last two both Boston). Looking over it, the only team record I haven't broken or tied this year is pass attempts in a game. I'm in the top 8 in EVERY defensive category this season....
I'm feeling just a tad confident this season going into the playoffs. Hopefully my team won't pull an Indy.

Dude that is sweet, Nice to see someone else having as much fun with this GAME as I am...
