I cannot officially understand this team. Just as I am ready to write them off, I make some changes and we go for 233 yards rushing, and Hickman has an incredible game!

Damn, just when I was really going to be creative too.

    Records set this week:
    Stanley Jamison 33 ATTs rushing
    Stanley Jamison 171 yards rushing

Also, Jim Hickman's line from the game
    19 of 22 for 176 yards 1 TD and 1 INT.

Courtney Cleeland so far this year:
56 tackles (3rd on team) 11 assists 2 forced fumbles 1 fumble recovery for a TD 6 sacks (2nd on team) and 7 passes defensed (2nd on team)

    2003 IFL AC East Runner-Up - Wildcard 10-6
    2004 IFL AC East Runner-UP - Wildcard - AC Runner-up 10-5-1
    2005 3rd Place AC East 6-10 2007 2nd Place AC East 8-8
    2006 3rd Place AC East 7-9 2008 2nd Place AC East 9-7
2009 1st Place AC East, Imperial Bowl Champions 13-3

Cleeland should be a stud in the years to come. Crap he almost is now.

        Thanks Vermont. Good Game 8)

As for this fake-ass team and their shitty ass play in the past 3 games, I'm at a loss for words. I guess I can't be a run-first team with this personnel group. I'm go back to the ole' Stallion attack at the end of this year (after we add some talent to this squad)

Still not sure how I'm screwing up my inactives 3 years in the league but Hare rode the pine again this week after I thought I activated him during Mid-week (???)

          Good Game Argot

We went into OT for the 2nd time in the last 2 years with Dakota. It was a slow boring game. Crespo gets a huge receiving gain late, and sets us up for the gamewinning FG.

I'll take it, though I gotta score a TD sometime soon. This sucks. It's been 10 quarters since we last scored

Ummm, I'll take your run-first team effort. Heck, I'll take 173 yards rushing on 4.4 YPC ANY day!

If anything, point the finger at your defense.

Cleeland is absolutely incredible, I always valued ILBs more than OLBs, but he is making me change my attitude there. He's steady, he always seems to make the big play, and given my defense philosophy, tackles are always evenly spread, he is only 4 tackles from having the team lead.

The other one that has amazed me this year is Tony Martin, he has 43 tackles mainly as a backup. What is astounding is his 20+% tackle %! Plus, he is pretty darn good in coverage.

Wow.. what a nailbiter Vito.. Huff almost fucked up the entire game for me though, missing key fieldgoals left and right (literally).

I thought you had me on your second drive in OT, but once again the Stallions showed some poor discipline.. thank god for 10-yard penalties in key situations .

Just for the record...I'll congratulate Newark...but what a stupid waste of time. Back to the drawing board for my offense. Rocco looked rusty, and with 1 minute left it would have been nice to throw at least one pass to get closer to field goal range. Lee missed two FG which is getting to be a pattern. I understand that the field was wet...but I'm just bitter after watching this one. We had one of the best offenses in the league until 4 weeks ago...now we can't seem to get out of a paper bag.

Then it really stinks with less than 20 seconds left to allow a 38 yard gain that allows them to win with a field goal. I thought for sure we were going into overtime. HEADS ARE GOING TO ROLL...It will be a long plane flight for the Spirit.

This was a tough loss. I can imagine how you feel, considering your current position in the standings.
Hey, atleast Crespo didn't run for 299yards

I'd love to be happy about my win, but I lost StClair for 45 weeks...

                        amazing.

That's all i'm gonna say about that.

Thanks Hartford by kicking our ass you just made my decision real easy to now play a few of my young guys mainly our rookie qb.

We are the most overated team in the league and it isn't even close. The worst thing to happen to us was winning so many games early to make us think otherwise.

It's to bad the previous owner seemed to trade his first rounders away so we have no real good young guys in the system.

The defense is a real weak spot for this team so if we do manage to back into the playoffs we aren't going very far.

I think that there's also a mis-conception about losing to my team. That is, we are a much more talented team than our 5-7 record. We hit some injuries and our defense has had some terrible games.
We're now getting healthy(though we're rusty), and our defense has allowed on 13 ppg in the last 3 games.
We're going to screw up some playoff races with our remaining schedule

Way to defend your turf, Houston. Injuries allowed my team to stay in the game. Your defense was key on some 3rd downs and Timmerman had a career day. Just a tough injury for Stclair, my condolences for that.
