Well, the plan to slow down Bucky Beaver and force Fresno to beat me in the air worked out. Williams had some pretty long balls, but his 3 picks turned the tide. My offense isn't glamorous, but it gets the job done as well with David Humphrey completing a lot of key 3rd down passes. It's going to be hard to bench him next year.
Oh, by the way, 8 wins in a row now. Bitches :P

You feel you have to start Hanks next year? Look at your division mate Anchorage, two first round QBs in a row and neither of them will ever start. Now you could say it was crazy but I don't think Budda is complaining too much right now. Start who wins I say.....Originally posted by hawksterWell, the plan to slow down Bucky Beaver and force Fresno to beat me in the air worked out. True, but Humphrey hasn't really proven himself to be more than a Dilfer guy. Keeps getting hurt, doesn't really make big plays but doesn't kill you with mistakes either. He's only thrown more TDs than INTs once in 3 years and this year, with 3 talented recievers and a stud TE, his numbers aren't particularly great. He does make some big conversions through scrambles. I don't know, I'd like more of a playmaker at the position since I don't get big things from my RBs either. He had the same offense last season (minus Scharf) and only won 3 games. I just don't feel I can rely on him. We'll see how the season plays out though.
