The Mid-week FA 9 stage will be run tuesday or wednesday next week.

It is valid, as long as you didn't sign or cut players which you did not do. Your team is set and ready for the games Sunday according to the export you sent in then.

Wow. 8-year LB John Maynard was given an extension that will pay him major money until his 14th year.

I saw that. I figured it lessens the cap hit over the next 2-3 years, but still a risky contract.

Actually his contract saves me 2 Million this year and 2 Million next year. It also removes him from being a free agent at the same time that JC is a free agent. Can you say Franchise tag for JC

It is not until 2010 (his 12th year) that he contract numbers begin to match the contact that I inherited.. (7,500,000 in year 12 and his cap this year was 7,400,000 this year)...

The way I see it is that if I can keep him until year 12 I am good. Come year 13 and 14 if he is still playing I can reneg then.
