Well the very 1st Houston owner (not our current one) had a bunch of his picks skipped over in the 2004 draft, but that has nothing to do with the untimed part. I traded for HOU's 1st round pick that year, remember (Oliver McKenzie)?Originally posted by roadrashI thought it was them. . so whowas the team that held us up in the top ten the last two years?Originally posted by JeffNo.Originally posted by roadrashBut Houston already picked. . .isn't that the cause of the big holdups the last two years?Originally posted by JeffBe prepared to test your patience, because the untimed part of the draft has become notorious for going extremely slow.
2004 - Jave and I made the Top 3 picks in 30 minutes. PIT's #4 pick was made around 18 hours later.
And it's entirely conceivable that ANC might not log in until later tonight."Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

Definitely not me. In fact last year I regret not taking longer with my first pick because I was trading down and wanted to shop the pick longer but didn't want to hold things up.Originally posted by roadrashBut Houston already picked. . .isn't that the cause of the big holdups the last two years?Originally posted by JeffBe prepared to test your patience, because the untimed part of the draft has become notorious for going extremely slow.
Cant' speak for the guy before me though. Last year a lot of the holdups were guys who weren't around and didn't submit lists or do 'draft-o-matic'.
Speaking of that, what happens in the untimed part of the draft if someone doesn't show up? How long until the draft becomes timed?Steve Beans - Houston Renegades

One more thing, I am going to be in and out today, so if my pick takes a little more time, bear with me.
