Been on cloud 9 after beating both Vancouver and Calgary in playoff rematches. Feeling great about the team and sit down to watch Colorado who just starts moving at will. All deep balls caught. Over 200 passing yards at half and getting crushed 24-3 heading to 2:00 before half. I turned off solevision, saw the results, and immediately went back to where I stopped watching. I don't know what the coach said at half, but it was a completely different game in the 2nd half and we moved to 7-1 winning 37-30. Should be happy, but we lost our #2 receiver for the season with a severe hamstring pull. We lost our #3 receiver for 3 weeks. And we lost our all-Pro DT for 6 weeks. Plus a simple broken finger to a tackle. Painful losses, Especially our 1400 yard WR from last year for 15 weeks with a hammy. I feel like that's gonna lead to a ratings drop.
Also, Conference championship last year followed by 7-1 this year. Drawing 31,000 fans in a 99,900 seat stadium that's in Very Good condition and dead middle on price comparison. How many years do you have to be good to erase like 15 years of single digit win totals and one playoff appearance?
