I think we should sim the offseason FA stages every day. This part of the season just drags on.

We're on a slower off-season this year, Coyote, as rode is away with very limited Internet access and I'm just subbing for him for a month. Regular season will be normal speed and we can put faster FA to a vote I guess if people want to do that.

I personally kinda like the extra time the few times we get it.

I was prompted with a message saying that my owner was putting a cap on the amount I could give as a signing bonus (my first time seeing this). Even with the insane amount that I offered, Vegas' total bonus was slightly more than what I was allowed to give as a bonus.

Hey guys, this offseason the schedule was changed so Boots could handle the workload, because I don’t have game access during this month (if you notice, I haven’t send a file in any league since late February). Thanks again to Boots for stepping up, because the only alternative was to put the league in standby for the entire month.

Next season we will be back to the usual schedule (early and late free agency stages will be simmed in consecutive days).

I also got that message about my owner only allowing so big a bonus (the bonus I ended up offering, I think about $172mil). My pc died on me Sunday night and I figured I was going to lose out, because I didn't get a file in for the stage but felt lucky. I do wonder about the owner cap thing, if that's different per team. That would be kinda lame if so. Stingy owners are bad enough in real sports, we don't need them in FoF too lol.

I am almost positive they are different by team. Mine was just over 190.

I know I wasn't complaining. I was just saying in general it for me it seems like the free agency post draft lasts a long time.

They are. I offered the most my owner would allow and Vegas' owner allowed higher. I know because I took a screenshot of my offer before sending the stage file so that I could compare the breakdowns if the player should sign with someone else. Congrats to Vegas for landing the prize of free agency.
