We win a shootout against State College. What a game. Went back and forth until a pick 6 on my side. Gave up close to 500 yards of offense and not going to win much doing that, along with 39 points. Now on to WV who owns 3 of the last 5 conference championships, I have been on the receiving end of a 2point and 3 point loss against them and lost by 7 in the regular season. Mostly hoping to not get embarrassed.

GG Rode. Jesus that game was ugly, and if we can't take advantage of 3 fumbles that bounce our way, I dunno what to say. I'm more convinced than ever that we won't ever beat you when it matters. You've eliminated us 5 of the last 8 seasons, with a sparkly 5-0 playoff record. I hate seeing you on my schedule lmao.

All that said, it's a credit to you and your team. Well played and gg, good luck the rest of the way.

SweenDawg, I thought we were in good shape at 14-0.. and then you responded with 41 unanswered. Congrats on the win and good luck the rest of the way.

          gg CBatts,

This was a crazy game. A 75 yard TD run gives Pitt a quick 7-0 lead, then on our next possession we throw an Interception that leads to an easy TD for a 14-0 deficit. Then on our very next possession we fumble and Pittsburgh get the ball on our 48 yard line. Pittsburgh drive down the field to our 5 yard line and look in position to take a 21-0 lead, however we return an interception 97 yards for the TD and instead of being down 21-0, we are down 14-7. The game turned on this play and may have been very different had you scored there. We never looked back after this.

Well played, Rylan. Damn, this game was pretty close. Definitely the closest I have come to winning in your house.

Can't be too disappointed. Most of the goals for the game planning were on show. Control time of possession, move the ball efficiently, limit Hasken's production... All good except the key one - get ahead on the scoreboard and force Jordan to have to pass more than he's comfortable with. While it was a two point game I felt we had everything under control (more or less) but the one turnover in the game gave you the 7 points, and made it a 2 scores game rather than potentially Calgary with the lead going into the 4th quarter where I would have fancied our chances. But once you get that lead we all know what you're gonna do: pound the rock and drop bombs on Hasken and Rigsby. And that means trouble!

Well, another Calgary season ends in Vancouver, but for now at least we closed the gap a lot. We'll be back to try again next year and maybe we'll get a dice roll or two then?

GG Sabean. I wasn't aware of the playoff record between our teams, but the game was as close as it gets. I told a fellow GM a few days ago I didn't have a good feeling about the offseason, and yet somehow we escaped with a win against you guys in a really ugly game. Your front 7 ran over our oline at will, thankfully for us we managed to hold your run game pretty well so we had a chance at the end.

Our defense is aging, so this is probably the last ride for the group. Not confident at all, but hopefully they can pull this one off.

                GG Boots,

Always a battle against you guys. I thought you guys made more plays, we just lucky on 2 big plays that changed the game. You held our offense down really well, and got chunk plays repeatedly on your side of the ball. I don't see any gap between us, just a question of whose day it is.
