GG Mellman, a total defensive struggle with fireworks at the end. Super frustrated at my 3rd down defense and some key mistakes that cost us, but you kept coming up big on 3rd downs and overcame some bad turnover luck. Hopefully I can hang in enough to make our week 17 matchup matter but gg and good luck man, wp.

      GG Bottle2k,

Well that was sure sloppy. Need to convert those trips and not settle for FGs. Got lucky.

God damn, just watched it on Solevision. What a game, I felt like we tried to ruin it for ourselves on multiple occasions, picks and fumbles etc. Less than a minute left and our punter only punts it like 20 yards to set you up for that last drive?! Then you convert on 3rd only to have it brought back on a holding call!? man, that was an exciting game. Never an easy game against Vegas and that matchup at your place on the last day of the season will be no different, see you then!

GG Aaron K what a great start to the season you have had! I was hoping to ruin the party but unfortunately we seemed to forget that we have to play 4 quarters... I could do with a division win at some time =)

Well played WilleB. This game shows the difference between a good team and one that's not. Even though your boys were having an off day they kept playing, and it came to them. For us- our offense is atrocious. We didn't see the red zone and couldn't do a thing with the ball. 12 penalties (accepted) didn't help and ultimately wasting a wonderful effort by our D suggest our coaching staff is on it's last legs. Gotta start prepping for next year- maybe try a few new things...

GG WV...you've got that team on the upswing. Well played.

I think this is gonna be a non-playoff year for Portland. I neglected cohesion by failing to resign some guys and it shows. We don't have the pizazz to compete against the big-boys in crucial downs. We need a couple of seasons to recoup our cohesion and be back up there. I should have remembered from the old game - Cohesion always trumps chemistry. Goodluck this season gents...I'm gonna put it on auto-pilot and just Air it out from here on out. Haha ugh smh

GG JMoore. It was a close one, we could have lost this one, we managed to make two big plays and that was enough to clinch the W. I'm afraid we are a paper tiger, we could very well be 2-4 instead of 5-1, and with a very tough schedule going forward, we are likely to struggle in the second part of the season, but we are definitely on the right track.

GL with the rebuild, sir, you'll be back soon to hunt us down.

This was a basically a W for Calgary. 14 penalties? We had 2. You averaged huge yardage per play and we couldn't stop it. I expect an even scarier 2nd game. Good game Boots.
