Lots of big games on the docket today,

Iowa City At Montreal- Snipe Hunters battling for a bye, Montreal battling for a wild card spot.

Lansing At Madison- Pretty much an elimination game, the loser is 99% done as far as playoff hopes go.

Lawrence At Vermont- Battle for NFC East first place and really good bye position, the loser is on the playoff cusp, a huge game.

Little Rock At Columbia- A Columbia win gives them a big up on a playoff spot and a division title and a bye, a loss puts them on the brink of missing the playoffs. Another huge game.

Norfolk At WV- This would be a big time for WV to step up. Norfolk has things pretty much wrapped up as far as the #1 seen in the AFC, WV is fighting for their playoff lives.

Orlando At Newark- Another game where the loser is pushed to the brink of elimination and the winnder is a decent position to breath a little bit.

Pittsburgh At Dakota- Pretty much an elimination game for Dakota. A loss means they have to run the table and get a good deal of help. A Dakota win however puts them in a good position for the final 2 weeks.

Louisiana and St. Louis try to hold serve in a tight AFC South race.

So there it is, An absolute huge week in the leagues history, this is gonna be an awesome week with so many big games. And the glory of it all? The next 2 weeks promise to be just as big
    I luv British womenz.

    Yeahhhhhhhhhh we lose again

back-to-back losses to losing teams at home because I tried to run the football :?

With a 1-4 division record and sitting at 8-6 with both St. Louis and Reno on the deck, I've come to accept that the Stallions won't be going to the post season this year. Even if we get the wins (highly unlikely) we lose on the tiebreakers.

So I got a linebacker available for trade as soon as the Imperial bowl is run:

    Gerard Weidner OLB

PM me offers, I'm looking for a #2 WR

    Dir. Football Ops
    Lansing Ogres
    2030 Imperial League Champions
    _____
    RING OF HONOR:
RB James Tart [HOF], WR Grady Gomez, QB Nigel Booker, OLB Stephen Srait

Well. Nice to win against Columbia. I actually took something Jeff has said in the past about certian teams and used that for my defensive strategy. Seems to have worked.

Ugly part of this game at first look. Both QB's throw 4 INT's each. LRK QB Ralph Given threw 4 INT's on 4 straight drives....when I was already leading 26-7. Doh, I need to adjust that gameplan a bit I guess, but there should be no reason he is tossing the ball so much in a situation like that. 3 of those INT's were by the same Fire defender, Larios.

CB Lindo had a big game, especially for the year he has had. Only 4 catches given up and 1 INT. CB Love also had a nice game with 2 INT's.

Nice to break the Columbia thing my team has had, but once again it's a little bitter sweet when most his defensive backfield is down and out....

Wow, Hartford has all but been eliminated from the playoff race with a close loss at Boston. The passing offense was good, but the running game was missing something.

It is going to be an interesting off season in Hartford. An aging team that still shows glimpses of brillance, but then falls apart the next game. I wonder what would have happened had I stuck with Lucas at RT rather than moving to Hartman. Hartman is the long term answer but needs to develop, whereas Lucas is better right now. If it meant even a one game difference that would have been big.

shit, i just noticed West Virginia knocked off the Vipers.

I guess he has an excuse for a less then stellar gameplan though....

What's really frustrating about this year, aside from the total lack of a rushing defense, is that we were so close in several games. But part of that can probably be attributed to my lack of game planning as much as last year.

Overall, I think we are a more dangerous team, and only one player away on offense from being a very good offensive team. But, our defense is about to fall apart.

Drop that second rate league named after a waffle/pancake house and you would have more time.

Newark's super rookie is the goat.

Another big game, with 160 something yards. But he fumbled, for the second time in the game, in OT in Newark territory. Orlando boots the FG for the win.

Ouch Crespo, you gotta fix them hands man, you don't want to be Ahman Green......

How do I still have the flu for two guys? I have never had it drag out like this before. My backup QB is still questionable for two games, like he was 2 weeks ago. My LB is questionable for 1 week, like he was 2 weeks ago.
