Hopefully I can somehow come out and win the next 9 games and somehow make a last dash for the playoffs.
I've yet to have a gameplan do what I want to do (score 38 points every week and hold my opponents to 3), but I keep at it.

Crespo and Walker [I wish I got him] will begin to step up big soon.
I wish Walker would. He's struggling a little right now. I'm still waiting for his "big play" capability. You had a chance to get him........ I think.
Had him rated as a 2nd rounder

Sorry guys I was out of town. Damn I missed a good one against Vermont. Hell of a game. Running up the score to 31-14 you definitely deserved that win. Our division is looking ugly and now on to SLC to regain our pride.

I had him rated as the 2nd best WR behind Halbert. I almost went Guard, then I felt that I had a bigger need at WR. I always felt that guys really were able to take Robey out of the game with only one good WR.

I feel like I'm letting down the rest of our division. Those guys are kicking ass! Keep it up, boys

this has nothing to do with week 8 games but...

i now have 3 pages in the FOF html pages linking back to the front page of the website. They are the standings, schedule, and index pages of the FOF HTML pages.

I have always hated how there is no real way out of those pages except hitting back or going to a bookmarked page. I will try to keep these this way (in other words I will try to remember to make this change every week in the code).

Most pages will have the top up left link going to the index page, the three I stated should say 'Front Page' instead of Index.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Titans did it the FIRST half against Indy in Indy last season.

Course Tennessee only defense, at that point, was too keep the O on the field. Indy figured it out at some point, Dungy can be slow, and they stomped my Titans 51 to 24.
Tennessee recovered 3 onside kicks in one game? Those losers DID NOT!!!!

Didn't mean too say they recovered 3 in a row, but they attempted 3 or 4 in the first half. Now I will have to find a game log or something and look it up too know for sure. Eventually Dungy put in his hands team in though.

Big difference would be in the IFL game the hands team should have been on the filed for all 3, as it was an obvious onsides situation. Onsides are successful what say 20% of the time, don't think it is that high even, so getting three in a row successfully would at best be about 1 in a 100 chance. And probably much less likley than that seeing as none of them would be a suprise.

Speaking of that exact scenario How many onsides did Indy get in a row in their "miracleus comeback" against Tampa Bay on MNF a couple of years ago. I bet it was at least three or 4 in the last 5 minutes. NFL admitted AFTER the game that the last one was illegal. Didn't take the win from the ponies though.

"Tennessee tried three consecutive on-side kickoffs in the first quarter (recovering two of them) and a fake punt in third quarter. The Titans, even without starting quarterback Steve McNair in the lineup because of a bruised sternum, threw deep whenever they had the ball near midfield (completing three for touchdowns).
But after giving up 24 points in a first-quarter scoring barrage"

here's the link. Great first quarter was ruined by the Titan D actually having too take the field.

We have always been lucky with crazy crap like that. Defensive scores and onside kicks but that is just plain crazy. I am glad I kept the coaching staff intact.

I'm not sure exactly what your problem is, but would frames help? You could have the link to the standings page just go to the frame, then when you upload the new html it will only replace one of the frames in the frameset.

My problem with it is that once you get into the area of FOF's HTML pages, you are stuck there with no links to other parts of the site outside of those pages (the main page, forums).

And yeah, the frames thing could take care of it. I know atleast one other league who puts the FOF HTML pages into frames. It is just something I have not tried to do yet. Maybe one day. But I am hoping the Vitomeister gets his database working first.
