    1. Orlando loses ... results in the Vipers to be the only unblemished team.
    2. Off week ... the restful week now has the Vipers healthy and at full force
    3. Next week ... Vipers travel to division basement dweller, Boston (2-6)

One would think that to be a all the right ingredients for the Vipers to continue their winning ways.

r00k - the eternal pessimist believes it to be a perfect combo that sets up the snakes to get ambushed and embarrased! I hate coming off bye weeks ... momentum is lost and who knows what you get with the second half (of the season) game surprises that FOF delivers.

Vermont-Orlando was insane. That is why it is getting front page coverage this week when I get to it.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Yep, that unheralded Lawrence defense'll do that to a team... imp:

Seriously... that was a great game, Jave... UGLY... but great! Your team would never let me get any breathing room and had a chance to win all the way down to 42 seconds left.

Wesley Connell becomes the first RB (and we play ALL the top rated RB's in the league) to top 100 yards against the Phantoms this season.

            This just in...

We stink. And it's not likely to get any better. Check out our 2nd half schedule.

            Norfolk - twice
            Columbia
            Little Rock
            Hartford
            W. Virginia
            Montreal

I figured it would be a rebuilding year but I was hoping to get to 6-7 wins...

Offesnive (non-QB) player of the week: David Sonnier, Vermont BACKUP runningback, who after Morris went down with a herniated disk, ran for 151 yards and 4 touchdowns!

Madison creams top-flight team for the second week in a row.

Coming off their win over Columbia, Madison now humbles Pittsburg.

Is Madison the team to watch in the second half of the season?

                  I feel like puking!

What a bad game for the Bulldogs. I don't understand why Crespo only ran 11 times. We were well within striking distance the whole game, and we chose to pass. Too many injuries on D. I knew this game wasn't going to be good right from the start. VAN was 12/18 on 3rd down and their avg YTG was 7.3. Scott Nelson blows ass. We lost half of DL.........and it was the good half. I think we may struggle for a little bit here.

Time to sit back and look in the mirror, then figure out a way to not give Wichita a good 1st rnd pk next year.

That is 6 IWC wins, and 6 PotG for Chaplin. . .Jones hasn't been playing as well, but he did pick up another half sack today. . .that trade was definitly worth the price.

My second rounder, coming off an injury has picked up 2 TDs on the year. . . My TE is still the best receiver, but maybe next year I should have a solid receiving corp

Now if I can knock down Montreal next week, I will have a nice lead for the division. I think that is pretty goodfor a 4-12 team from last year
That's why Chaplin is dangerous. I wish I had him this year with a running game! I figured Nelson was a cheaper version. Boy was I wrong. I still don't regret the trade though, as in the end I've got Crespo.

Jones has been solid for you. He's not as dominant, but that's likely due to his ratings hit shortly after the trade. I sure could use him now!

Have you ever heard of running the ball?
First of all, the way my team was created, I had much better opportunities to get quality recivers, so I just ran with that (no pun intended).
Simply put, my O line just isn't good enough to create the holes that Connell needs. I have not had much luck running him consistently.
Secondly, now I don't even have a semblance of a passing attack, teams can just load up the LOS and shut down the run.

Since it's now no mystery, teams can expect to see alot of Connell........he's the only weapon I have left.
This is a major dissapointment has this was our season and everything was falling in place. I have never been hit this hard with injuries before.

SO............AT 4-4 I have little chance to even make the playoffs at this point. Oh well.

                                Ok Jave, stop playing 'possum.

You have Mann at WR perfectly healthy, and Martinez is probablt for 2 weeks as you have a bye next week. Bice is out 3 weeks, Tessier 2.

No way is your season shot. A bye week, then Vancouver after that in which you could still win even sitting all your injured guys. Even if you don't win it, you should be healthy for SLC, and you promised us a win there.

In that division, at 4-4, you are fine.

                                'possum playing mofo.
