Sorry guys. I started pissin' blood yesterday, and last night the pain hit big time. Kidney Stones.

I have been at the doctor and getting a cat-scan done, I am also fairly drugged up to numb the pain, and pretty drowsy. I am going to lay down and take it easy, FA stage will be done tomorrow.

I thought they could blow them up with sound waves and stuff these days?

I've been lucky and have not yet had them, but I have had a blast ragging on my buddies that have. Still remember a buddy of mine who kept a strainer in a ziplock bag with him.

My understanding is it is painful as heck, but usually that is the end of it, just awfully painful.

Well, the way it is often described by doctors (every doctor I have seen through what is now my third time with a stone) and what I read online, it is basically up there with giving birth in terms of pain. That pain is not when it comes out, although that is horrible. The major pain is when it is moving from the kidney to the ureter. It lasts for a day or two usually, and you have to have major pain killers.
