Toads blow it after leading 21-0 at halftime. The Power come back to tie it up with under 2:00 left in the game, and win in OT.

Running game got shut down, that killed us from doing much of anything in the second half when we went to ball control with te nice lead. The Woods trade bites me in the ass on this one some I guess.

      Well done Mr. Bigglesworth.

Columbia @ Little Rock for first place next week. I have a bad tracked record with the Fire.

Well, forget about box scores and logs on the sports page this week. This laptop I am on won't cooperate with me on it. It is printing to file, but when I open the .txt files fucking notepad is locking up.

I need my laptop back.....

I see the Gods smiled on my Horses today. I didn't know the Phantoms were as good as they were until I saw their scouting report. I gambled that stopping Stanfield was the key to this one and I guess I got it right. Of course 11 penalties for 87 yards from my home team refs helped alot.

I thought last year was Booker's and Gomez' breakout seasons---they sure look to be out performing last year's marks so far (yikes)

          wow:

1-10-SLC16 (08:33) SLC 2 Booker pass completed to 86 Gomez for 84 yards and a touchdown!
Gomez gained 50 yards after the catch

2-08-SLC22 (03:35) SLC 2 Booker pass completed to 86 Gomez for 64 yards.
          tackled by LAW 49 Thomas.
Gomez gained 22 yards after the catch.
The quarterback threw away from the double coverage

Bye week with a winning record. I had hoped to be 4-1 at this mark but 3-2 is not too bad.

Lawrence is a pretty nice team for sure. That division could be interesting if Orlando can't handle them the way they are everyone else.

Vancouver made me nervous. Looking over there roster earlier this week made me realize that there 1-3 record was not the true tale. Dewitt toted the rock like a 24 year old and ran two short yarders in to give us a 14-10 win at home. Owning the clock with over 34 minutes helped keep Vancouver off the field for a comeback.

One home game to go before the bye and no new injuries. Next week will be a tough home game against Newark. It is divisional and we are 3-1 lifetime against them, however it always seems to be a close contest win we play each other. If we can get by that game injury free we will get back Willette DT, Akers DE, Williams DE, Hill CB, Ginn TE, Soliz WR and Swanson RT. If we are sitting at 6-0 with all those guys back we are gonna be rolling.

Yes I agree. We got lucky week one with their failed lineup. We just need to keep some distance between them and win the games we are supposed too. It is extra nice when we get the tough wins over teams like Columbia and Oakland.

If you discount week one, we have won by 3, 3, 6 and 4 in a row. Holy crap that cannot go on forever. I hope we are not dipping into the luck pot to deeply.

Ughh, another week, another loss by 3 points. I think once my team develops enough to start controlling the clock a little better, and converts a little better on 3rd and short, we may actually be a decent team.

It's bittersweet to lose so many games in the past 2 seasons by such a close margin. We're losing, but at least we don't look overmatched against many teams.

Cringer I just looked at my gamelog again--my defense (yes my defense) forced 12 punts in this game. That's just crazy

My QB threw for 35 yards and we won, heh.
We ran, ran, ran and played great defense, stopped a 1st and goal from the 5 in the last 2 minutes of the game to hold on, i'll take it.
