what happens if i set my preference list, but then when my pick comes everyone on my list was taken already? does it stop and wait, or does it just randomly pick?

Me tooThis one boggled my mind a little -though I think Argot recovered well and got some good guys in the 3rd
Dakota receives:
Basil Neace, WILB
Texas recieves:
Dakota's first round pick (1.6) and 6th (6.6)
I think I overreacted because I lost two LB starters (one to retirement and one to FA) then when I noticed that there weren't alot of options in the FA and draft panicked. I love Neace's numbers, and he did lead Texas in tackles...but then again...it is Texas :P , anyway, If I would have to do it over again, I would have traded down and picked up Barber or Chelius. That probably would have got me a 2nd rounder too and could have picked up a WR which I failed to do. I'm giving my front office a C+ on this draft, and that's only because of the 3rd round.

i don't think Tito Ash would've been there much longer..that was a good pickOriginally posted by HammeringJohnsonI should have traded down in the 2nd round. that is the biggest regret that comes to mind.Boston Dragons

Yeah it was either Cox or the S and wound up with my choice. Went with the DE. Pleased with that one.Originally posted by Houston_GMMurf picking up Cox was a great pick for him. Oliveira was another great pick. ... but Murf definitely improved quite a bit with their draft, although they could still use a QB bad.
Trade down in second was a good move as It looked like DE was the best value and I had 3-4 on my short list and I figured one of them would be available for me later. Wound up that Tulsa grabbed Ash and I got Oliveria, but I had them pretty close anyhow. Got back into the 4th round with the trade.
Anxious too see how the scout rates the S when he arrives at the facility. Possibly moving him to CB for the nickle job. Yeah the Mules DB's are so bad that a high teens guy with some potential is not only a lock for the nickle, but will contend for the second slot behind Martin.
Houston has been helping themselves greatly in this draft. Filling holes nicely. Hopefully the AFC South will be shaken up in 2005.
As far as QB goes, Willoughby is a Vandy grad so ... and ... well.... Something will come up I just know it.

Yea, i'm very scared of your defense this season, and besides your O-Line should help improve your offense quite a bit. I agree the South looks like there may be a shakeup, but i'll probably still come out on the bottom at least this season. Too many rookies playing in key positions, especially on the O-Line.Steve Beans - Houston Renegades

I havn't been as into the draft as I should be so I can't really comment on others quite yet but I am happy with my 2 guys so far. I would of liked to have moved up a bit but im not sad that I couldn't, i don't have alot holes and once the premiere RB's went i felt no need to try and get an average one.I luv British womenz.

I am pretty pleased so far with our picks. I traded up to #26 to get QB Will Irby who will the future on this team probably after this season. I was worried about Hartford nabbing him, so i moved up. Don't know if he would have grabbed him with him liking Mueller so much. Just didn't want to chance it.
I really like the CB Robert Poole i picked at 2-32. Seems a few guys were interested in him as well and speak highly of him. I too think he will be a good player in this league eventually.
I picked SS Sammie Fredrickson at 3-32. He has a somewhat high volatility so he could be better then advertised, or worse then advertised. Kinda rolled the dice on this guy. Hopefully he comes out ok after training camp.2003,2004,2007,2008,2010,2013,2024,2025,2031,2037, 2038 and 2039 NC North Division Champions, 2012 and 2017 Wild Card

Good move, I had it down to Irby or Richardson. Richardson got picked early, that left Irby. But I had my eye on Hickman the entire time, as I think he will wind up being the second best QB in the draft before all is over. I love Mueller, but I want someone with better ratings for long term.Originally posted by BOSSI am pretty pleased so far with our picks.
