2040 - Regular Season Week 7 Complete

I had 2 players that were hurt in the 1st sim, one for 8 weeks and one for 3 weeks. In the new sim, they didnt play at all in the game but have same injuries from the first sim. The WR is now out 7 weeks and the OT is now out 2 weeks. So, its like they were still hurt from the first sim and their injuries had a full week of healing somehow.

Can you restore files from the last sim of games and go from there? Something just isn't right.

Yeah I agree go back to the midweek or even before the midweek. I had a player injured and one sim and his injury advanced a week during another sim even though we didnt advance more than one week. w t f

That's what I've tried. For some reason the players are still there and apparently the injuries too. As I said, I can void or set contracts. Those are the only options I have to try to make up for my mistake. We need to move forward. Once again, sorry.

Can't we manually load the week 6 file and go from there? I haven't updated my game.

looked like the gameplans were all effed up too. me and madison both threw the ball over 60 times each or is that just combining multiple runs of the game file into one stat line? idek. Kinda weird a qb throws 68 times in a balanced attack.

ok.....

just watched my game and wow. i was like WTF is happening.....my gameplan is definitely not being adhered to. now i see that we are all in the same boat.

count me in with the, "this isn't right". we threw the ball 60 times!!!!! that's not our offensive gameplan.

I can also confirm the GPs (at least on offense) were not used. My script had a 122 formation for the first play - we came out in a 113 formation on the opening play. But as Matt said, we all were in the same situation.

Need to hold up advancing to the next stage and try to figure this out.

i'm hoping there is some way to go back and revert to the point before these games were played.

i didn't have any issues with players being dropped or signed, but i did have one of my WR's get hurt(i'm assuming in one of the previous sims) and he's now out with an injury that wasn't present prior to the game 7 being played.

I screwed up the first one. GP weren't used and transactions were made. I tried restoring the files to yesterday and resimming with the correct settings. It seems to have helped a little, but there's still inconsistencies. We can either spend more time trying to restore files and going back stages and trying to make everyone happy for one game, or we can move forward.

Injuries are not an issue. It's not like we normally have them off. Players get injured. Roll of the dice.

My opinion ... move forward. It's unfortunate, but it's 1 game. I've offered my assistance with contracts if some great player or key affinity was dropped. GP for 1 game doesn't seem like that major an issue. Half the time people complain about GP use (or lack thereof) anyway.

ya, if there's no way to go back to a pre week 7 condition that allows us to take over and re-export as if nothing had happened, the best call is to just move forward. we're all victim to the same set of circumstance.

Yeah I agree to halting progress and trying to find a way to roll back to last weeks file. Could have messed up league history with single game records as well.

Gotta be a way to go back. I have 1 guy with long term injury that didn't even play. I'm just not cool with that at all. I know it's a game blah blah blah just move on but I would like to go back to the file after the previous weeks game.
