Not sure why I keep wasting time playing this game. 1.3 future rated 80 SS Kai Penarroya busted. Stud RB Durgin didn't come back from his ACL tear and looks like he'll be as effective as Pee-Wee Herman would. Guess our season is already over. Top 5 pick. Here we come again.

You flew too close to the VSOD Sun like I did in the USFL with my 1st round pick who sported a nice volatility rating of 99 - I took a chance and lost...

You're absolutely right. I noticed his volatility, but have never been swayed by it being too high before. He looked like the best player in the draft. I think this is the 3rd time I've got burned on a high pick with a volatility rating over 70 since FOF8 came out. I think maybe I'll take that into consideration going forward.

          interesting.

i don't even look at that volatility rating. perhaps i should pay more attention.

i hate the random dropping of 10 pts overall in some random year. i feel like if you're still playing in year 5 and you're pretty good, you're probably not going to just shit the bed the next season.

for instance, I just gave my WR Basham a new contract as he was holding out. guy drops 12 points randomly in his 7th year

That's pretty terrible Steel. I thought for sure that Kai was going to be Defensive Rookie of the Year. He came out "as scouted" when I interviewed him (although my defensive coordinator is pretty bad at interviews) and I was 100% going to take him 5th overall if he was still on the board.

Yep. I would have taken him too 5 for sure. Sometimes it looks like somebody busts, but if they had a good combine, those bars might return. Harper jumped anothe 5 points this offseason in potential.
