Defeat puts us at 9-7 for the season and we miss out on a wildcard spot. A 1-5 record in the division played a big part but an encouraging season nonetheless. I will be looking to put my own mark on this team in my first off season.

Good luck to all in the playoffs

      GG Strap..

We did make the playoffs even with the loss but Burgess was concussed during the game and won't be playing in what is most likely his final post season...

so yea it's the rookie QB Hoffman filling in again ..he did fill in during the season for two starts and won both games despite mediocre play.. this still feels like the Raiders last season losing their starting QB and forced to start a rookie in the wild card...

Im prepared for the ass kicking We will receive next week against LA. It was a good run.

Won our 9th straight to get the #1 seed with a 44-6 drubbing of Texas. We're in championship form.

We won our last game with our backup QB. We lost three of our last 4 committing 8 turnovers. I have no idea what this team is.
First Third; the offense was not quite right (my fault) but committed few turnovers.
Second third, I got it right and we were smooth as silk. Edwards looked like Brees and the running game looked like Dallas last year.
Last Third, we still move the ball down the field, but now, the turnovers. One thing for certain (Rich, Weber and Tyler) are all the real deal. Tyler and Rich combined for over 2,000 yards receiving.
The defense a mixture of youth and experience, played just as erratic. Fackleman was a beast. Godfrey and Franz were solid, but injuries limited Godfrey's playing time. The defense was "nicked up" for most of the season, but it was the turnovers that did us in. I guess it is not surprising to finish 8-8 if you played like a 16-0 team and then like a 0-16 team.

Oh well, we improved our record.... another draft and another season of hope awaits!

A 5 game win streak was not enough to cover a slow start. Ended 9-7 and was hoping Newark would lose their final game. Harper showed some signs of brilliance...and other times stupidity. Let's see what season 2 might bring for him.

Matadors are the only team to sweep the division this year.

Looks like Vegas puts you as 3 point favorites (though not sure if that takes into account your QB situation), and you already kicked our ass this season. We are 7-0 in one score games, which seems impressively "clutch" but is more likely the result of good luck.

Yea that was a great defensive game for us hopefully our defense will step up again because I'm sure your defense will against hoffman.

we were not doing well at the beginning of the season but once Herndon got healthy, it changed our season.
