What a weird, weird game. A safety for each team and a kick-off return and we end with an 11-9 result. Lucky for us, we take the spoils away from home and pretty much stopped your offense completely. We may have a chance if a wildcard spot at this rate

I am not sure that was a good game; we were never in the game? It was Absolutely dreadful!
It is hard to win any game giving up 50% plus 3rd down conversions. My highly experience and skilled DBs looked like 1-A college football team against Drew Brees and the Saints.
My safeties account for 17 minuses. The DL had 35 minuses (5). All below 90%. 10 Penalties also undid us. It killed offensive drives and kept alive drives on the defensive side of the ball, including a 2nd 17 play that went froma sack to a first down. This led to a TD.
This is the second game in which all phases did poorly.

I am not sure if this "hot and cold" performances a season long narrative or I am just unlucky at the dice rolls???

This is our second lackluster performance. Let's hope we do not have a third. Next week, we are on the road to play Norfolk (8-2).
