The Beasts sweep us on the season but it could have been oh so different without some real boneheaded penalties. The zebras had a busy day throwing their little yellow flags about. 14 penalties for 161 yards! What did we work on during the bye week? Certainly not discipline!

Seriously though, good game and hopefully we'll be in a better position next season.

Fumbles, INTs, blocked FGs, 85 yards in penalties, can't get off the field on 3rd down. I can't even beat a team on AI.

QB Harper runs for 125 yards... :P

        GG Rawrster,

The IWC offense played a little better today, but it was our defense that shined. We held London to only 167 yards total offense and forced 3 turnovers.

          Little Rock - 42 | 20 - Georgia

After falling behind 17- 7 early in the second quarter, the Lancers outscore Georgia 35- 3 to win 42- 20 on the road.
For the second week in the row the offense played as I expected they would. We amass 210 yards rushing with Otis Hogendoorn finally showing what we expected from our former #1 pick in last year's last draft by rushing for 131 yards on 13 carries (10 yards/avg).
This year's # 1 pick caught 6 balls for 120 yards and a TD. Last year's sensation, Gabe Tyler, caught 4 for 70 yards. TE Wber hadonly a couple, but important catches. The only blight on the performance was Edwards two INTs. However, he threw for 247 yards.

The defense started very slowly giving up big plays which resulted in the initial deficit. The defense did give up yardage to Georgia, but stopped the generals on three straight fourth day attempts. They also forced 6 three and outs on the day.

If the offense can continue playing well and the defense can get healthy, then I can see us making some noise. The first 8 games were rough. we are 4-4. It comes down to the next 8. Will we revert or move forward? Nothing is a given; we were once 2-2 and thought we had turned a corner, only to drop two games. Plus we did fight ourselves back twice.

Things do not get easy. We have a tough three game stretch. Next week, Texas, in which we lost a tough one to Texas in week 1, but we are in Little Rock this go around. Then we have the resurgent Tulsa and the 8-1 Norfolk Vipers on the road.

My salute to Georgia! I have a team in another league at 1-9, so i feel your pain. I hope you can turn this ship around soon!

[note, did y'all catch my pun ]

            Good Game MrBigglesworth!

Not sure why my game file got corrupted. I've been having trouble import and exporting the files where half the time they ends up failing--but I think this is the first time that the file got sent corrupted despite it telling me when I exported that everything was successful. My firewall is set to allow FoF8 through and I make sure my real time virus protection is off when I export and import, I believe port settings are correct too. If anyone knows a solution I'd appreciate it.

Tough break with the corrupted file, but maybe try the manual uploader?

I'm not sure that's a good idea. I don't know if anyone has tested it, but FOF8 compresses some of the files it uploads. So using that feature may not work. I'll probably remove it in the future just in case.
