  • New Owner in Los Angeles

Hey everyone, I am taking over the worst franchise in league history (according to Argot)! I see some familiar names, but for those that don't know me I was in charge of the Pittsburgh Power (now Pennsylvania Lions) from the middle of season 2004 through the middle of season 2010. Back then there was one game a week, and during my shiftless 20s from 2004 until 2007 I woke up excited every Sunday morning for IFL football, and stayed glued to the computer during draft time. I moved across the country in 2007 to go to law school, and had to quit the league. Also, I had "solved" the draft, which took some of the fun out of it for me at the time.

I haven't played much FOF in ten years, so I am probably going to take a season or two to figure out what I am doing so there will likely be a rebuild in the making. The Los Angeles franchise has won 1 playoff game the history of the league, and I went 0-4 in the playoffs during my years in the league, so I think we're a good fit.

welcome back!! always awesome to get some of the old crew back.

you still have the TCY game files? haha.

we stopped using the TCY draft files after you went out west......which was probably a good thing!

Right after I moved out west my computer started having issues and eventually crapped out. That's another of the reasons I left the league. So I lost all of my old FOF files, including TCY files, all of the research I did, and also the php pages and database that Jeff and I worked on to create the online player pages.

I should email Jeff and tell him to take over a team again.

Silly me responding to a gameday thread instead of finding this one first. Was honestly shocked when I saw your name. I'm glad to see you are alive and well. I don't have any interest in coming back. I think the only thing that will get my engine started at this point is TCY2.

Hey Jeff! To each his own; I needed a ten year break to get back into it so maybe see you in a few years. Have you tried FOF8? I feel like you would love designing your own passing plays (though, I have no idea how realistically the game models the plays).
