    GG Matt,

When we meet, both offenses dominate (or both defenses take the day off). This one was no different with a 41 - 37 IWC victory which featured 1,069 total combined yards. Last year's Super Bowl paled in comparison with 847 yards. Our other recent meeting was 2032, where a whopping 1,252 yards and 119 points were racked up.

Good luck the rest of the way. Perhaps we will meet again this year.

    Playoff Appearances: 2030-2049, 2051-2052

GG Boston. I may have won the game, but you pretty much ruined any hope I had of a playoff run. I lost my QB (though he should make it back for the playoffs), Starting FL, Starting CB and another key secondary player in that game. I will definitely be limping in to the playoffs, assuming I make it through Montreal this week.

GG Anchorage. We were able to put together a TD drive in the final minute and then win the game in OT. I'm not blowing teams out like I did earlier in the season, but I suppose those are first-world problems. I may just get that #1 seed...

Picked the wrong time to win a game. Rookie Gerhardt had a GREAT game. Probably lost my shot at the #1 overall pick. I just can't bring myself to tank.

Great game. I was busy all day yesterday, but really wanted to save this game to watch where i had peace and quiet. as i sat down this morning, visions of that 1200yd game popped in my head. to me, that was the single greatest game I recall watching. It loses luster being a regular season game, but it was amazing. I was reminded of that game as your offense kept just driving down the field and scoring!!!!!!!!

overall, and awesome game by you guys. Keeping my passing game to 23yds with 0TDs and 1INT in the 1st half was very impressive. somehow we made it close at the end and gave ourselves a chance to compete to win. I love to play against you. I truly have a ton of respect for you. what you've done with that team from a building perspective is 1 thing, but obviously your gameplanning skill level is also very high. A truly great opponent.

Great win in our house by you.

Hope to see you 1 more time this year!!!

                    Matt,

Thanks for the compliments. I enjoy going head-to-head with you as well. You are one of the best GMs I've faced - just look at Newark's track record of 26 consecutive seasons without a losing record. I'm in 4 leagues all together with a bit of longevity and only one team has a better winning pct. than Newark's .679 mark. Keeping that level of consistency is amazing.
