    2nd time I've been beat by Georgia's 2 year deals with astronomical bonus money.

    Keep forgetting that this is no longer a rule...

    Do we know why we got rid of it?

          I don't know for sure, but it probably has to do with the commish not wanting to review every contract.

            IE- prevented the big 1 or 2 year deals that had massive bonus money and littlle base salary.

            It was something we adopted way back to prevent silly contracts. most leagues did the 3 yr rule in FA1. this was our version of control

                while i'm on a roll.....

                i loved that rule. I don't like the massive contracts, because i don't think that way. it takes an adjustment to think differently in order to get what you want.

                as a former commish here, it was a pain in the ass having to go through the contracts and make sure the salaries were ok.....on top of all the trades..... those sims took some time to complete!!
