    2034 Week #1 Discussion

    welcome to the new season!!!

    Newark Bulldogs are ready to go against their old rivals in Boston. the rivalry has lost its luster since the Lawrence Phantoms became the Boston Freeze, but the historcal reference deserves to be mentioned.

    We tried to get better this offseason because we had the cap to do so. Last year we made due at certain positions, while this year we tried to improve the defense and components of the offiense. Then our prized offensive addition got injured for the season!!!!

    I have no idea how this will play out, but i'm hoping that it will be fun.

    4pm can't come fast enough!

        gg Armicking. Despite our horrible draft we start the season well. The defense had a great day. I am still trying to figure out how to get more out of Hanks.

          6th rounder Marsh plays the game of his life in the win... Hopefully its not a one and done type thing ... Keep playing like that Blue can sit out the season ....

            Wow... I thought we would be able to generate some type of Offense but that defense of yours destroyed some very good O-Lineman. Jeremy I can't wait for the rematch! I'll call it Portlands Revenge!!

                Hey guys, I've been absent for a bit because of work but back in the saddle now.

                Happy to get the win over TimG and the Trojans but we have a lot of holes to fix on this team. On a positive note 3rd year TE Parker Patterson and undrafted rookie FA QB Jonathan Mueller scored the first TDs of their careers in the first quarter with a 76 yard pass in the first quarter.

                    GG Open!

                    Braxton Givgore shined with a 115.6 quarterback rating and a player of the game designation. First round pick Jerome Lyon caught 8 out of the 9 thrown his way. Our line did not allow any sacks, but didn't seem to give J.C. Walton a lot of running room as he only had 54 yards on 21 runs. Cleveland was a 10-6 team last season, so I'm feeling pretty good about this win and looking forward to next game.

                        I have not even started the game since I left.

                        I still cant get my head around that healthy 3rd QB crapola - LOL
