    GG Beast,

Hillery had another outstanding game and our defense dominated in our 34 - 0 victory.

      GG Deacons.

Burgess got hurt last week so I had to pick up some random FA QB... Start Jarosek and he throws for 4 tds and runs for one more. This guy won himself the roster spot for good.

Another whacked out game plan by Dakota. No runs except 3 by the QB. 11 familars and 8 sacks...nice.

Whew, we squeak out a victory against London. The offense was great, and the defense played well enough. GG London.

Had we lost this one I might have been trying to sell parts. Next up... Iowa City fresh off a shut out of Vegas. Oy.

Well...lets throw that gameplan in the crapper. Tried to get too cute. 4 turnovers, 7 penalties, 41 pass attempts compared to only 9 gives to Wolfe. Sacked 6 times. Bad plan.

            GG luis.

I figured he would pass a lot but his shiny toy at QB is going to get killed this way.

I know it's only four games but seriously, how good is IWC right now? If they keep this up Tom will collect his third straight championship without breaking a sweat!

Dawgfan is kicking ass in the TFL too. (Although he did lose the Bowl this year.) He has figured out quite a few things with this game and knows how to assemble an ass kicking roster. One of the best GMs in any league I see him in.

Bowl last year, 1-4 so far this year. Having only played one of our first 5 games at home and a laundry list of injuries will do it. A bye week and 7 of our next 9 at home should help.

                      GG Matt

I was expecting 40+ passes from Travis Kennedy in this one and whether it was dice rolls or gameplan it was only 28 in the end so pretty stoked about that. Crazy stat of the game: after halftime Newark had seven possessions and managed just 35 yards of offense on 21 plays. And 21 yards of that came on the last play of the game. An unprecedented result for me and one that was completely unexpected.

Not a great game for Gianettino but good enough and our offense is doing enough to avoid being one dimensional. Our best stat is on time of possession where we are averaging 35:53 per game on the year and that has to be a big part of our 5-0 start.

On the other side of the ball, our defense has had to face some top QBs to start the season (Bruce, Montemayor, Kennedy and the up and coming Rasmussen) and has done really well giving up just 6.31 yards per pass and getting 6 INTs to 6 TDs surrendered which is just as well considering we face Dan Lester and the Trojans next week.

Bye Week. Team's still underachieving. Key players injured. I think it is time to bring on some Vets to round out the team along with firing the HC.

Thanks for the props guys, but as Artie mentioned, much of the season is yet to be played. Also, regarding the IWC roster, I need to share some credit with Slimmikey. He ran the team before me and in the 2029 draft landed QB Hillery, OLB LaBounty, WR Zimmerman and WR Antonio. That was one damn good draft.

I don't have any magic wands. Yes, drafting is a big part of team building. But there are a lot of other details regarding building a champion such as great special teams, chemistry, cohesion, etc. Almost everything I've learned is posted on FOFC. If you haven't read the hundred little things threads, start there.

Most, but not all, of the Y2K7 theories apply. Outside run direction and ideas involving WR BPR (this was toned down in FOF 7) have changed.

you guys kicked our ass. our defense is terrible right now and it reallly put pressure on the offense to perform......and that just didn't happen today.

hoping to get a little bit healthier and get a good run in at the end of the year.

                              looking forward to a rematch.
