307 passing yards in the first half for Montemayor. I have to question the teams play calling in the 2nd half though. very run heavy and our run game wasnt doing anything out there. That bad play calling almost let Little Rock back into the game... punting on 6 of our 7 2nd half drives... GG though nice Road win.

Nice beat down SLC. A couple things jumped out at me when looking at the game log. First your ave yards to go on 3rd down was 4.4. That is ridiculous. Also, your red zone efficiency was perfect. Lastly, that 4th quarter 84 yard run was the back breaker.

I need to change things up after that loss. That one hurt.

GG DG, as expected Montemayor was the man to beat and we couldn't do it. Surprised that the final score was a close as it was and it would have been an injustice to you if we were able to score on that last drive and send it into OT.

Some really frustrating stuff for us on defense especially in the 1st half. We were in pass aggressive on about half the pass plays that you ran (and in pass for almost all of the rest of them) and Montemayor was still completing passes at will and we couldn't buy a pass defended in spite of a ton of big red bars in our secondary.

Offensively we put the game on Albert Gianettino's sloping, rounded shoulders from the get-go and he just couldn't get it done: 2 INTS (1 pick six on the very first drive) one Fumble Lost that was turned into the game winning TD in the 4th and under 53% pass completion percentage. We have to find a way to play better than that.

Good luck the rest of the way, you have a hell of a team there!

          GG Nasty,

Backup Dwayne Newman continued to amaze the Iowa City fans, completing 24 of 33 passes for 367 yards and 3 TDs. He did throw 2 picks, so we need to improve ball security. With Joe Taylor contributing 162 rushing yards and our defense playing well, we were able to notch a fairly easy road win.

GG Matt. I thought I had you, but Woodcock was just too much. Don't understand why Hyman didn't hand it off to Wolf on the next to last series. I think I could have went ahead with time running out.

GG Hartford. You hung close throughout but Hanks and company got the final word on a td drive to win it with just a few ticks left. What is up with your back up, undrafted TE catching for over half your passing yards? Before this game he had 40 yards receiving all year.

Yeah was a GG. I seen montemayor completing passes into double coverage quite a bit too to walton. He had 307 passing yards in the first half I do not understand why the game plan flipped to a mostly running game plan in the 2nd half. I know there is a certain point in the game you start to waste time and you can adjust that in the GP but even up 3 scores my team shouldnt have been in time waste mode to well within the 4th Q. Was a 17 point game we shoulda stayed aggressive and doing what got us the 17 point lead. But w/e gonna fire that Off Coordinator he keeps it up lol.

Good Luck the rest of the way to you too. Win the division over there.

LB KC Drexler + dice rolls this week man. We were run off the field with basically the same defense last week and RB Garner is a guy that I damn near cut for roster space -- he won't have a game like this for the rest of the season I bet.

                      whew!!!!

there's that old saying. "it's better to be lucky than good". there was a point in the late 3rd qtr where i figured the game was over. i think you guys blocked my punt and took over deep in my end. Somehow we rallied and brought it back. Woodcock was a beast for us. Our defense has been pretty decent this year also.

glad to have pulled out a win! good luck to you the rest of the way. you've got a great team assembled there.

GG Las Vegas The Seal Get back to .500!

This game was probably the best game of the year WR Ryan Stargell had 12 Catches and 13 Targets 127 Yards 2 TDs, The rookie QB Caiden Richard was Player of the game when he put up 23-31, 231 Yards, and 3 TDs. The great games was only topped by DE Larry Price who was named DPOW with 6 Tck 3 Sck 1 Pass Defense.

Next week we face off with another .500 team Columbia in what should be a great game. Both Teams have a Young QB starting so this could be a game of which QB plays the worst football losing. One of us has to go to 5-4 and I hope it is the SEALS!!! Bad Luck Columbia!
