GG Houston (not sure we have an active GM there),

QB Dwayne Newman ran the offense well enough, including tossing a TD, to engineer a 26 - 0 victory. But the real story was the Iowa City D, holding the Renegades to 70 yards total offense. Harris and Norris were under pressure all game.

yeah...pretty ugly game on both ends. But I'll take our opportunistic defense. I won't take 13 penalties for almost 100 yards.

After West Virginia took my QB out for what will most likely be the year we had no choice but to look at a rookie to take the lead at QB against the Whalers. After throwing a Pick on the first play of the game he settled down and managed the game very well allowing our bend don't break style of Defense to keep the game close with a 23-22 Victory

GG Luis! We're playing some good ball so far this year. Defense has come around some since them first 3 weeks. Missing two starters on the OL the last two weeks and the run game has suffered. Big games coming up this week with TEXAS and @Little Rock. Would like to take both but hoping for at least one of them in the victory column. Might need a 11 wins this year in the NC to make the playoffs. The conference is strong...
